Hi Jeffery, Checking your order information, it looks like USPS is currently under duress from the holiday season and package deliveries are delayed. Sincere apologies as we've shipped the item on time, but with the holidays and increased package load, some packages are arriving slower than normal, and that isn't something we're able to change on our end. Mysterious byzantine shipping calculations
I had to back up step-by-step through the purchase process, then step back through it SEVERAL times in order to understand why my shipping was sometimes free and sometimes not. Shipping costs should be clearly explained, instead of the sale process requiring the customer to experiment and gather data in order to understand those costs. Worst purchase experience I've recently had to endure.

If it goes below our threshold (with coupon and discounts included), free shipping will be automatically applied or removed depending on the value. It said that the shipping would have no taxes, but they were half the price of the glasses.

Hi George, Thank you for the review, I wanted to leave some information regarding this charge as it is actually not from GUNNAR. The additional charge is the cost of import and duties taxes to Romania. As a result, this charge is from FedEx International and is imposed by local governance. While I'm sorry the cost is so high, there is unfortunately nothing we can do since it is legally required in your country. Best wishes, Terry

Almost $100 total shipping costs
The glasses are good, but in total it was just under $100 in charges to have 1 single pair of glasses delivered to my house. On top of that, they actually try to get you to pay "insurance" the guarantee their triple boxed glasses will arrive safely. As if that's not already expected. Good product, absolutely abusive shipping charges. Would not recommend unless you can buy them in store. They also like to spam your inbox if you have any communication with them, but that was easily fixed.

Hi Mark, Sorry if you feel those shipping charges are excessive, but those are actually International Taxes/Duties that are required by local customs governance and are not enforced by us at GUNNAR. FedEx International requires taxes/duties charges for all imported products from the US. No Communication No Customer Support
No communication during the order process from start to finish. Asked at end of week three for a status update. Next day the status changes to completed and shipped, I get a tracking email. I have received the glasses and I have been trying to get a frame change because they're prescription and can only get a frame change. I have been waiting for a total of six weeks for a reply from their non-existent customer service. I have submitted two requests and no communication. The reason for my frame exchange request is how severe the curve of the lens/frames are. Don't even get me started on how thin, absolutely thin the frames are.

Not Worth the Expense or the plastic
Poorly explained features had me end up with a magnification on my glasses that caused me discomfort and vision issues. They have yet to issue my refund.
