Beware of the "Freebies"... they are not.
I ordered and paid for the shipment of a guitar instructional DVD. They enrolled me in a 'VIP Membership' that I never agreed upon, I've never asked for, and never plan to do it. This morning I noticed a 27 bucks charge in my card balance. Obviously I'm very upset because despite being cautious of what I order online; I feel like I was scammed by this company. I hope I can work it out somehow. Now I can see a long painful road awaits me with the bank, as I asked them to freeze the account due to the unrecognized charge. Update: While initially seemed like they did not want to refund the charge, at the end; and with the help of Amanda , they decided to do the right thing and act professional. I appreciate that and I hope that they improve their website in such manner there's no way a customer could be misled into purchasing something that wasn't intended to buy. At the end of the day it's a lot more business they can get by being extremely transparent.

We’re sorry to hear that this experience has left you feeling upset. We completely understand how concerning unexpected charges can be. To clarify, the DVD offer includes a 14-day free trial of our VIP Club, which is clearly stated on both the landing page and the checkout page. After the trial period, the membership continues at $27 per month unless it is canceled. Our intention is always to be transparent about this so members know exactly what they are signing up for. That said, we never want anyone to feel stuck in a membership they don’t want. If you contact us directly at [email protected] , we’ll be happy to review your account, help cancel the membership if it hasn’t already been done, and discuss the billing with you. We truly want to resolve this quickly and fairly for you. The GMM Team
