I would give 0 stars if I could the time it takes for claims to be processed is crazy you lose everything by the time your money comes in and they don’t communicate anything every time I call they request more stuff and say my claim is being processed highly disappointing

Paw Gardian is the worst company to deal with. I never received my ear cleanser for my dog, and they won't answer my emails. In my email I asked for my money back , no answer. I would never order from them again. If you do, good luck!

I’d give them zero stars if I could. Paid family medical leave still haven’t received any payments almost a month. When I call I’m told someone will get back to me. They never do. I’ve called at least 4 times. With different questions no one has ever gotten back to me. Called again today to get forms to extend my leave for the doctor to fill out. Told they sent it to my email, they did not. never got any email with form for doctor. Weekend coming up and my fmla return to work date is June 1st. Probably not going to get forms to extend my leave in time. It shouldn’t be this difficult This company so far has been terrible. Especially when you’re sick.

Customer service is literally nonexistent. A farce. I called their number and got a bot named Hugo. Was offered to be sent a text to do a live chat. I did that and ended up chatting with Hugo again. I then was led through a series of questions I couldn’t answer and it said it would send me to a live agent. Thank god. We’ll never mind because an agent (I suspect it was actually another bot) said “can I help you?” and literally never returned to the chat. Guardian sucks just like every other greedy insurance conglomerate.

They are the worst. They pay for nothing..there is always a reason to deny a claim. They structure it so they're basically off the hook for everything. They only seem to pay for teeth cleanings. Forget calling them.. its all a stupid AI that makes keyboard sounds. Lame. Then if you want a live person, you have to go to chat. There is no speaking with someone. Chat is a huge fail as well. I'm still waiting for "Kushal" to respond. Pretty sure he disconnected.. I assume because I asked a question that they cannot answer with copy and paste canned response. Looks like another outsourced nightmare. I will be cancelling this POS coverage. All the dental places I need to go to is out of network anyway. I'd rather pay out of pocket at this point..oh wait, I ALREADY AM!

This is the worst insurance in the world. After submitting my EOI, I was denied due to my "history of". What does that mean. Diagnosed with congested heart failure and I put in a claim within the same month I of open enrollment and got response from Guardian. Denied due to history of congested heart failure. What the H_ _ L! I did not have a history, I was just diagnosed. My employer provides this crappy insurance. SO SAD!

Just found out I have effectively no coverage even though I have been paying every paycheck since February. I selected a dental office about 10 miles from my home when I filled out my new employee paperwork back in January. Welp, today I lost a crown. So I called the dentist office that I chose. They have no record of my insurance. So I double checked with my benefits coordinator, and she showed me the paperwork that she submitted to Guardian with the ID number of my chosen dentist. I called Guardian and it turns out that they randomly assigned me to some dentist I have never heard of, two hours away, for no reason. They said they can change me back to the dentist I chose, but it won’t be until at least June. I tried talking to a supervisor, and even sent copies of the original paperwork from my Benefits Coordinator, but they are unwilling to budge.

Horrible company. When setting up our employer group policy, they neglected to specify the payout process for claims, thereby delaying short-term disability payments to employees who really needed them. The company refuses to keep us in the loop on claims. An employee on long-term disability due to pancreatic cancer (known for its speedy mortality rate) had his claim closed by Guardian after a year and a half because "he was doing better". He was unable to work full time and three months later is nearing the end of his life. No logic. No compassion. We moved our business elsewhere. If you want good coverage for your employees, do NOT buy a group policy from Guardian.
