A boutique tile shop experience
A boutique tile shop experience . They have a fair amount of quality and stylish tiles for kitchen and bath projects . In my opinion they don’t stock very cheap tiles so don’t expect to walk out wit my a deal on your materials but we had an excellent experience with Andrea White who works at the Roselle office and her eye for design and a dedication to us made us seal the deal with them for tiles for our kitchen and bath renovation

We will be sure to share this great review with Andrea. We are happy to hear that you found her to be so helpful with design ideas and that the service you received was above the normal tile showroom. experience. Please try and share some of your finished project photos with her as we love to share those on our social media platforms.

Amanda was a talented resource and very patient. Unfortunately the item we finally selected was backordered beyond an acceptable date for our project. I will consider GST in the future based on the customer service I received. Thanks

We are so sorry that the material you selected was not available in the time frame you needed. Unfortunately sometimes we are out of material and our supplier may also be out of stock on an item that has been a "hot" seller. We hope you were able to locate something that fit your design and hope we can help you better on the next project.

The staff were excellent and helpful with our purchase. I would recommend them to anyone. Our tile we purchased is amazing and was affordable too. Our bathroom is beautiful now and we are very happy!

Great Selection
Good sales staff and great selection of tile. Would have been 5 stars, but we had trouble getting some of our order.
Response from Garden State TileFeb 11, 2019
We apologize for any issues you experienced in us getting you the full order in the time frame specified. We try hard to make sure that this does not happen, and unfortunately we fell short in this case. Please continue to visit our showroom for any future renovations so that we can get to 5 star service with you.

Customer Experience Concerns Addressed!
My initial review was 2-3 stars. I visited the showroom in November/December 2018. I spent over an hour with the sales person to review my new kitchen back splash design needs. She said she was ordering samples for me and I have never heard back from her again! It is now February 2019. I guess my need for design assistance and follow through was not important to Garden State Tile in Berlin. I am a designer and my personal customer experience with GST and their follow up are disappointing. Since sharing my concerns, GST has been extremely responsive, apologetic, and they quickly took the time to address my concerns which is very much appreciated. It's great to know that GST takes customer experience reviews very seriously and are responsive to them. We are back on track. Thank you!
Response from Garden State TileFeb 7, 2019
We apologize for the lack of follow up and will certainly get in touch with the location to ensure this does not happen again. Please reach out to me for any future needs and I can get in touch with the manager to make sure you are given the highest level of service that we try to provide to every customer. My cell phone is 609-505-0939 or you can reach me via email @ [email protected]

Consultants were wonderful and extremely helpful. We did not like their return policy which charged a 30 percent "restocking fee" on full boxes of tile
Response from Garden State TileSep 27, 2018
We apologize that on some of our items there is a restock charge on any material that comes back. We always try to verify the quantities to make sure this doesn't occur, but we realize that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances that result in an overage of material purchased. Please give us the opportunity to work with you on the next project and we can try and extend a discount on any future purchases to offset that amount.

Great tile selection & Janet (our staff rep) was particularly knowledgeable & patient when offering us multiple options to better fit our plans. The design & purchase process was seamless. Delivery was also prompt & courteous with delivery crew confirming arrival (& keeping to it) as promised. Only issue was amount of tile needed was inaccurate & more tile needed to be purchased with resulting installation delays & unexpected additional cost in tile and second delivery. All in all, a solid 4 stars and I’d recommend Janet to everyone. Just double check your numbers.
Response from Garden State TileAug 14, 2018
Hi Frank - Thank you for the information on your experience with Janet. We normally try to confirm the quantities with the contractor or installer to ensure that this does not occur since we can't foresee any issues on site that might cause shortages. We will make sure to cover this with all Team Members. We are happy to hear that everything else went smoothly especially with the delivery.
