Not worth the money I joined after I heard love his BOPA (Borrow Other People’s Audience) strategy. I paid just under 10k for their program and immediately knew I made a mistake after the first call. Everyone is very nice, but this needs the recipient to know more on computers than what I consider normal, add to the fact you must have some copywriting skills and don’t add very much value. Most of it was in a cohort of people. The whole experience was cringy and goofy. The substance of their approach to marketing is strong, but purchasing the Growth Tools package was one of the biggest mistake I ever did. Proceed with caution. NOT WORTH THE PRICE They totally refuse to refund me (whole or part) which leads me to believe that they don’t have confidence in their program.

I paid just under 10k for their program and immediately knew I made a mistake after the first call. Everyone is very nice, but the “coaches” are simply not all that competent and don’t add very much value. Most of it was in a cohort of people. The whole experience was cringy and goofy. The substance of their approach to marketing is strong, but purchasing the Growth Tools package was one of the biggest rip offs ever. Proceed with caution.

I had the most awful experience ever with Growth Tools. I signed up for business coaching in Apr 2023 for $15K. Their 100% guarantee was that I would make my $15K back or I would get a full refund, & that I could be making $100K per year within 6 months, working 10-13 hr/wk. As of Sep 2023 (after working WAY more than 13 hr/wk), I had increased my email list by ~10 people, made $0, & booked only 1 sales call. The Terms of Service I had signed says: “You’ll get a full refund..., plus we will reimburse up to $1K when you hire another coach…As long as you do your work, you cannot lose money working with us.” They also say: “If we look over your body of work and deem you busted your butt and gave it an honest effort, but missed the goal, we’ll refund you even if you don’t hit 800 action items or one of the other specific conditions above.” I requested a refund, believing I had met criteria for “doing my work” without making my money back, but was denied, because I had not completed the minimum in the contract of 20 action items per week. However, they did not provide me a copy of the contract to review before I signed up, so I was unaware when I signed up that that was a requirement (and also didn't know what 1 action item amounted to, in terms of energy and time). Furthermore, in my call with their salesperson, I told him upfront that I was finishing another job and would not be able to work full-out until mid-June. He told me this was fine and did not mention the fact that that could result in me losing eligibility for my refund. I did 5 wks of less than 20 action items a week from May until mid-June, but after that, I did 16 wks of 20-75 actions per week. However, they said that “5 wks of inconsistent action” can’t be repaired by “doing more action later”. I did an ADDITIONAL 2.5 months of coaching with their head coach, Michael Sharkey, and STILL made $0. So, if 5 weeks of inconsistent action cannot be repair with action later on, their salesperson should have advised me NOT to sign up for the program, or at least warned me that I would not be eligible for the refund. I did a LOT of work for this program and still made $0, and they did NOT honor their guarantee. Over the time I worked with them, these are the actions I completed: Contacted 260 people for Founder’s calls; Held 87 Founder’s calls; Pitched offer to 28 best-fit people; Sent 134 partner pitches (& follow-ups); Executed: 11 podcasts, 4 IG lives, 3 online workshops, 10 LM swaps; Emailed ~40 people on my email list to offer call; Attended/watched a recording of 1 Hot Seat/wk while in original program; Made/used 7-day welcome email sequence; Made landing page; Added a thank-you page; Booked 7 sales calls (no sales, most were no-shows); Did 7-day “Make You Cry” campaign, All resulting in exactly $0. Also, whenever I brought up my concern about my lack of progress with my coaches, they seemed to side-step it, telling me I was doing a “great job” on my assignments, and Michael Sharkey kept telling me “I can see that this is working for you,” - which was very confusing, considering that the vast majority of my partnerships had yielded 0-3 new email sign-ups. The quality of the coaching was very poor, because they basically just walked me through the steps of the program, told me I was “doing a great job” on each of my assignments (giving me minor tweaks, and sometimes flip flopping on how I should do something) and when the program wasn’t yielding results, just told me to “keep going”. My experience was devastating, because that was my entire savings, and now I have to go back to working a full-time job to pay my bills and I don’t have the time or energy to work on my business, which was my dream.

This program is very disappointing. There is zero tech support while using. I have tried to join hot seats and tech issues on GT part and left comments, contacted coach, and not one person commented or reached out. My coach did hours after. You have to reach out to a coach for any issue and they understandably can't drop everything so if you are having issues - you are out of luck. The videos are cringy to watch and not professional. The templates are basic and you could google or use chat got. For the price, I’m so disappointed. In the videos, many speakers talk down like you have no knowledge. I see them "selling" the program but I have been following the program and see NO Value. I’m actually frustrated as I have lost time and money. I have written lots of reviews. This is my first 1 star. I wish I could provide positive feedback. But I can’t. I've shared with my coach about bugs I've found, questions and I'm told that the developers aren't interested in making changes. You are better off getting a business coach or buying a program from Amy Porterfield, Jasmine Starr. My individual coach is great - that’s the highlight - but the platform is NOT user friendly or effective and I find they are not interested in making enhancements. Like I mentioned I haven’t learned one new or innovative idea since using. Lots of busy work. If you have any marketing experience - find a better platform.

[Updated Review September 19,2023] Growth University made some bold promises that ultimately went unfulfilled. I paid $10,000. They promised me a 7-figure marketing plan that would guarantee ROI of at least 5 new clients within the first 90 days (15+k EUR). I was so excited that I even agreed to write a glowing 5-star review for them here on Trustpilot. However, things didn't go as promised. I followed their marketing plan, seeking their approval for every step. However, despite my work done & approved by my mentor, the plan did not yield any results. Later on, it became evident that the initial plan they had presented was far from realistic. So before the 90-day ROI guarantee milestone, they dramatically changed the plan to a 6-figure plan and expanded on tasks to be done. I did not agree with the update, of the plan. When I attempted to request a refund, they informed me that I couldn't do so because I had already approved their original plan on May 11th. They also announced to me that since the plan was changed, they reset the ROI guarantee as well, so now I am not able to ask for an ROI refund since I did not execute their newly updated plan. All without me approving or disapproving the updates. I wanted to get on a call with them to discuss this privately, but they stopped communicating with me and deactivated my account. This left me feeling not only disappointed but also deceived. It's disheartening when a company makes bold guarantees, only to fall short of delivering on their promises. My hope is that my experience serves you as a cautionary tale, urging others to approach such guarantees from Growth University with skepticism. EVIDENCE I created a video review, and document with evidence containing our email communication, their marketing plan for me, my work done + results with numbers, and communication where I was applying for a refund guarantee. However, after submitting the review, I found out that Trustpilot does not allow me to add links to the review. [Original Review from May 16,2023] I really liked Matt's supportive & patient approach to replying to my long questions and concerns. In the end, he turned all those into a marketing plan that "made me cry"/made me really excited about what is coming and what is reasonable to expect to happen if I follow the plan. I didn't even expect that this business had such potential.

Rip Off - Do Not Trust For all those considering to work with Growth Tools for coaching, BEWARE OF THIS SCAM because the company won’t deliver on what they promise. I'm a real person and this is my review on how Growth Tools was a waste of my money... The business Growth Tools markets one-on-one coaching to help you build an online business. To sum up what I received: I got an online course, automated emails, and a coach that also sent me automated emails to check and see if I was following all of the steps of the program. I had very few one-on-one calls over the course of the year that I was enrolled. When I purchased the program, I was promised one-on-one coaching with personalized feedback & sessions for problem solving aspects of my business to help grow online. They booked a phone call making these promises of what their coaching services include and once I paid (which I PAID $6K!..), they didn’t send me a receipt or any terms of what I just paid for. Hmmm.. It wasn’t until later on that I realized I wasn’t getting what I paid for & then they told me there’s no refunds.. So basically, you will receive a bunch of templates on how to grow an online business with minimal coaching. If I were to do this all over again, I would just go learn for free on YouTube rather than waste my hard earned money. Or buy the Product Launch Formula because its clear that the owner Bryan Harris just jacked a bunch of concepts from Jeff Walker and charged way more for some watered down advice. Once in, they will assign a coach who will have a video call with you for onboarding and that's pretty much it. I basically paid $6k to take an online course & the coach I was assigned didn't ever give me any personalized advice for my business. One of the things I was promised was that my coach would be there to help keep me accountable and help me during all the steps of the process. My ‘coach’ didn’t give personalized feedback on my business. I am COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED with the 'coaching service'. Rather than trying to keep clients happy with following through, they just take your money and don't care about what you get out of it. Growth Tools was a WASTE OF MY MONEY… which sadly, I’ll never get back because they don’t want to make things right. Bryan Harris, How do you expect any of your clients’ businesses to succeed when you can’t manage to provide a good quality service of your own? And in response to your reply here: I did voice my opinion and concerns to my coach, his supervisor, and also asked to speak with you. I booked a video call with Andy (my coach's supervisor) and discussed it all with him. It is SO SAD that you publicly write these LIES in response to my review. I was told, sorry no refunds. As a past client who has splurged an obscene $10.5K on their coaching program, I am here to sound the alarm on the chaos that underlies their promises. You'd expect an ordered and coherent marketing plan for such an astronomical fee. Instead, you'll be subjected to a haphazard plan requiring massive amounts of your time spent on endless sales calls, all without a clear lead channel strategy. The ludicrous suggestion was for me to use podcasts for leads, which had me scrambling, researching, and contacting hosts, scheduling, recording, pitching, nurturing via an email sequence, and conducting a monthly webinar. What was the result? A resounding, disheartening ZERO. But it doesn't end there. The audacious expectation was for this labyrinthine plan to yield ROI in less than 90 days. This is an outright impossibility if you're doing this part-time like me, a fact I had clearly communicated to them. While their coaches can be helpful at times, the cost for this service is wildly overpriced. Be forewarned, they may try to bait you with scarcity marketing techniques, claiming a time-limited discount. Don't fall for it. You'd be significantly better off spending a mere $20 on the "Traffic Secrets" book by Russel Brunson than investing in this company's bloated and fruitless services. Now, I feel it's critical to address their response to my previous feedback: They stated: "We give every client several opportunities to review their Marketing Plan before we submit the final version to them." This is utterly FALSE. Their marketing plan is vague and the demanding, time-consuming tasks they expect you to undertake are only disclosed once you've been roped in. They claimed they'd "never expect ROI in less than 90 days with a part-time effort." This could not be further from the truth. Their salesperson explicitly assured me that part-time commitment was sufficient, going as far as to say that the majority of their clients were part-time. This is a BLATANT LIE. Don't be swayed by their attempt to twist my words. Their coaches are adequate at best, but the service is simply not worth the exorbitant price. And here's a disturbing update: This company had the audacity to offer a measly $1000 to erase my review from the internet. When I asked for fair compensation for the financial losses I've suffered due to their shoddy coaching and marketing strategy, they flatly refused. It's quite telling that they're more willing to suppress negative reviews than rectify their service failures. Finally, be aware that they have begun bombarding their mailing list for positive reviews on Trustpilot, and not all reviewers are genuine clients. This is a cautionary tale for anyone considering their services. Don't be seduced by their persuasive words and promises. This venture has cost me a great deal in money, time, and frustration, and I sincerely hope my experience can prevent others from falling into the same trap. [2023-08-31 Update on My Previous Review]: After sharing my genuine experience with GrowthTools on TrustPilot, the company took the step of challenging my review, labeling it as "defamatory" – particularly focusing on my statement: "Finally, be aware that they have begun bombarding their mailing list for positive reviews on Trustpilot, and not all reviewers are genuine clients." In response to their claim, TrustPilot approached me for evidence to substantiate my statement. I promptly provided them with the necessary documentation, which included emails from GrowthTools' newsletter and feedback from other TrustPilot users. TrustPilot found my evidence credible and reinstated my review. It's essential to highlight the lengths to which GrowthTools went in an attempt to suppress genuine feedback. From offering a paltry sum to remove my review to making unfounded claims to TrustPilot, their actions seem to underscore a pattern of trying to manage their online reputation at the expense of transparency and honesty. It's disheartening to see a company prioritize silencing genuine feedback over addressing the concerns raised. I believe that potential clients deserve to see all sides of a business, both positive and negative, to make an informed decision. My intention remains to share my experience so others can make a well-informed choice.
