Gold Seal Ground SchoolsReviews of groundschool.com

easy to understand the material.

The videos were very helpful,

Gold Seal's ground school is an excellent resource for FAA written exam prep. As a visual learner, the videos were especially helpful. Admittedly, I was disappointed with my score of 85 (51/60) on the FAA exam. Reason being, I scored a 93 and 100 respectively on Gold Seal's practice exam and a 93 on their final exam...so my expectations were higher than an 85. There were around 6 questions on the FAA exam that presented unfamiliar material. That's not to say I didn't miss it somewhere in the course though. I also understand the complexities that come with consistently keeping a program current with ever-changing regulations. Bottom line, Gold Seal delivers on their promise and I'm trusting them again with my Instrument ground school. Thanks guys! Ephraim Smith

The course is well laid out to walk a student pilot through the program in a logical manner. The course materials and animations are very good and the quizzes, stage tests and practice exams ensure you learned what was required.

Excellent explanations

The videos are well presented, and the supplementary information is thorough. The animations in the lessons really take a complex topic and explain it well! Update (12/21/2013) I took the written exam today and ended up getting an excellent score (100%) on the first try thanks to the material provided in the ground school!

The lessons were in depth and accurate. I have learned so much in my free time and found myself wanting to get back and learn another lesson. Russel Still presents the lessons in such a way that you feel he is really talking to you not trying to make too many dad jokes, or pandering to you. I searched the internet for a ground school that matched my style of learning and I found it at Gold Seal Online Ground School.

The course is broken down into sections that progress as you learn and bite size individual lessons making it easier to understand the more complicated subjects.
