Gold Seal Ground SchoolsReviews of groundschool.com

I've been asking my students to use Gold Seal for several years with nary a problem and a near-perfect pass rate. One reason: their InstructorView, which lets me look in on each student's progress and help him or her with any problems immediately. Currently, Gold Seal is tops for Private and Instrument in part because of the fresh videos, animation and interactivity; they have a new Commercial course on the way. The other thing I should mention is the plethora of information and resources all their courses have. I ask my students to at least look at all the extra resources, so they'll know the value of each one.

I just passed my written yesterday thanks to Gold Seal! I had tried two other schools previously and I just didn’t feel like it flowed and built upon each lesson. Gold seal was the complete opposite. What did I like the most? Quizzes after most lessons to ensure I had grasped the concepts and understanding of each lesson, additional sources in each lesson for further reference and review, as well as the interactive videos. For a couple recommendations it would be nice to be able to download the flash cards as well as have a way to review the missed questions in the practice exams section instead of having to scroll past all the ones that were correct. Maybe have the missed ones accessible at the top when reviewed?? All in all I would highly recommend Gold Seal to anyone that is looking for an online course! I will plan to use the IFR school as soon as I finish my PPL.

I used Gold seal for my IR and I must say I enjoyed everything about it, the content is up to date and easy to understand. Those are not two words you will not hear in instrument training, it made things more manageable. I have previously used other training and it can put you to sleep really fast

Gold Seal Ground School truly excels in several key areas that make it a standout choice for pilot training. The course material is meticulously crafted, combining in-depth knowledge with engaging, interactive content. The lessons are broken down into digestible modules, which makes learning complex subjects like aerodynamics, weather, and navigation much more manageable. Each module is accompanied by high-quality visuals, videos, and diagrams that reinforce the material, making it easier to grasp and remember. Another aspect that makes Gold Seal great is its adaptive learning approach. The platform offers personalized quizzes and practice exams that adjust based on your performance, ensuring that you focus on areas where you need improvement. This feature not only helps solidify your understanding but also builds confidence as you progress. Overall, Gold Seal Ground School’s combination of high-quality content, user-friendly design, adaptive learning tools, and excellent support make it a top choice for anyone serious about becoming a pilot.

Gold seal was nothing but short of exceptional. I enrolled in the ground school for my instrument rating after a “test drive” of the course, thanks to them for making that available. The course was great and easy to learn. Even the “boring subjects” were not so boring thanks to GS. I also purchased a supplement test bank course, to try and help with the practice test aspect. I got through the gold seal course and had then realized I had wasted my money on the supplement. Gold Seal had provided such a good learning environment for me that I had truly learned the material, rather than just rote memorization like some courses. I took a few practice tests on the other course and had realized I didn’t need it, and I was more than ready for the test. I had scheduled my exam for a few days later, went in and passed my IRA Written with an 88. Thanks Gold Seal, your course was excellent and I will recommend it to anyone.

Great course to learn your basics for your PPL! Highly recommended!…….IFR course loading!

Just completed the IFR program. Great interactive and very well articulated program! My only regret is not using Gold Seal for PPL. I completed 2 other IFR programs Sporty's and Flight Insight prior to this one. This program was far superior to the others IMO.

Was making Weight and Balance way to hard in my own head, after being frustrated and going in circles. Finally reached out for help. Low and behold its, Mr. Russell Still "Online instructor" who picks up the help line phone #. In less than a half hour, the charts and math all made sense. Was just a very nice man. Knowing someone's on your side makes a difference. Says a Ton about and the organization that they have you covered from Top of leadership, and below. Thank you.
