Vanity Serum causing weird unusual breakouts on normal non sensitive skin non acne prone skin
I like the overnight cream. However, the Vanity Serum is causing pimples, like weird breakouts . I do not usually ever breakout, and first night using, I woke up with two cystic type bump pimples from the Vanity serum - and in places I have never had a pimple in my 40 years. I do not have sensitive skin even, I have used MANY brands at similar price points. Something is off and weird with the Serum....I also just read another review from a user who had same issue with the Serum.

Hi Kyle, Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the Vanity Monday Serum didn’t work well for your skin, especially since breakouts aren’t something you usually experience. While our formulas are clinically tested, individual skin responses can vary. We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback, and we’re glad to hear you’ve been enjoying the overnight cream. A member of our team will be reaching out to help with next steps and to make this right for you. — The Grimoire NYC Team

Not for everyone
The packaging and shipping were great. I really don’t want to give 1 star but I have been using the serum and overnight moisturizer since it came the end of December and it has made me break out really bad like really bad I basically get new pimples everytime I use this and in spots I don’t normally breakout I even got some deep cystic acne since I started using this. I don’t think it’s a bad product but I just don’t think it’s for me or my skin.

We’re so sorry to hear this, and we truly appreciate you sharing your experience. While we’re glad your order arrived quickly and well-packaged, we completely understand how frustrating it is when a product doesn’t work for your skin—especially when you were hoping for the opposite. Everyone’s skin is different, and sometimes even great formulas aren’t the right match for every routine. We’d love the chance to help make this right—please reach out to our team [email protected] with your order details and we’ll happily assist with next steps. Thank you again for the honest feedback.
