Got my greenzone 16" bike and was excited. I was really looking forward to finally having a bike I could take with me on the train. I did a test ride and all seemed well enough. It performed about as well as I expected a bike with 16" wheels to. My troubles began with my first real ride. 5 miles home from the train. Within the first 50 feet of riding I came upon the problem. The bike's handlebars have a tendency to shift to one direction or the other when you're riding, but the wheel will stay in the same position. I figured I probably just didn't tighten the handlebar stem enough when I unfolded it. No biggie, so I tightened every joint on that stem as tight as my fingers could manage and thought that would solve it. It did not. The problem persisted and it still persists to this day. It makes for an incredibly unsafe ride, seeing as the ride home from the train is almost entirely adjacent to busy roads. I have lost count of the times I've come close to falling into traffic because the handlebars just shift unexpectedly no matter how much I tighten any of the parts. I'm taking my bike to get looked at soon to see if this problem can be fixed, but I can tell you I definitely won't be riding this bike to the bike shop. The only thing that saves this bike from a single star rating is that I legitimately thought the test ride I did when I first unboxed the bike was good and because the bike came with a lot of good extras for the price.

The bike itself looks great; aesthetically pleasing and a cute fire engine red. That's about as good as it gets. I'm going to find a way to return this bicycle. It's driving me insane. 1) It's a pain to fold the bike. Literally a pain. I don't know how the guy manages to push the pin far enough to enable the bike to collapse, but my skinny fingers can't do it. I have to use a pen or an allen wrench to assist me. 2) My seat post froze. I've used the bicycle outside a grand total of two times. I installed it properly, I did not leave it outside exposed to the elements and I took care of it. The damn thing froze up and now it won't budge. The bike costs ~200$. To get it unstuck will cost 60$/hr at a shop. Come on. 3) The brakes came loose mid ride. Talk about heart stopping. I can't even fathom what could've happened if I wasn't riding slowly on perfectly flat sidwalk. 4) Don't ride the bike over any bumps.

We sent one of our bikes with our son to Sweden and he was able to use it for several weeks. One night he left it locked up at a train station and when he got back a day later it was gone. Hopefully someone in Sweden is still enjoying the bike. The bag for the bike does not hold up well however. it was ripped and the straps unusable after its flight. I had originally bought the two bikes for my husband and I for when we travel. The bike is too small for my husband who is 6'2". Mine is so so , its not a very comfortable bike to ride. I prefer a my (external reference) bike. I have looked for a bigger framed foldable bike and have not found one. We do plan on using our one remaining bike for travel in the US, but for everyday use, its not the bike for me.
