They were very responsive to a plumbing…they don’t care.
They were very responsive to a plumbing issue. However we have lived in the home for a month with no access to the clubhouse, pool, gym or any amenities supposedly provided. We have reached out many times trying to get resolution. Nothing!!! Also our pool timer doesn’t work to turn off and on the pump. Several requests and still no resolution.

Hi Will,
Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with us thus far.
We're disappointed to hear that you have not had access to the amenities that should have been provided to you.
We took a look into the matter at hand and found that there was some coordination being done with the homeowner in the background to ensure that (1) you aren't charged for anything that you shouldn't be charged for & (2) you are not held responsible for things that should fall under the duty of the homeowner. Although it may be taking a little longer than desired, we want to make sure that everything is set up and processed correctly in the beginning so that larger repair needs or issues don't arise in the future.
We hope to be able to show you that we care about the resident just as much as we do the homeowner. If you have any additional questions or issues you come across regarding this or a different matter, reach us at [email protected] and we'll be sure to point you in the right direction in a prompt manner.
Thanks again.

Close to impossible to make sense of…
Close to impossible to make sense of the owner portal. Just trying to find the balance in my account and justify that balance via transactions is very very difficult. An owner's job should be made easier by the statements-not harder. The quantity of useless material could be lessened by a simple statement each month that shows income, expenses, balances and disbursements for each unit. I'm still looking after 1 hour!

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
We completely agree that the statements we provide you should make your portfolio transactions easier to understand. We’re disappointed to hear that this has not been the case in your experience.
As we continue to develop visualization and reporting that will improve transaction visibility on your home(s), we will include your feedback as part of our exploration process. Additionally, please note that you can review a high-level intro to our Portal here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjDRg8mt2a4 and schedule a demo with our Support Team to answer any specific questions you may have.
If you feel that any of your feedback has been left unaddressed, please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can troubleshoot directly.

I thought since it was a new…
I thought since it was a new construction that it would of been a smooth process. BUT HAS BEEN FAR FROM IT. Prior to move in we did a walk through where everything was documents for future purposes. Move in date nothing was fixed. No fridge. No microwave. No hot water. & have been given the run around ever since. Managers cancel your request without actually fulfilling the order.

Hi Kevin,
We really appreciate you sharing your feedback. We’ve spent a lot of time building out a process for Move-In’s that are geared towards making our residents’ first experiences with Great Jones as delightful as possible, but it looks like we missed the mark with you. We’ll be the first to step forward and say we could have done a better job, so with that, I’ll share out exactly how we’re using your feedback to do a better job in the future:
1. You felt your needs mentioned during walk-through were not addressed at Move-In.
As excited as we both were to get you into this brand new unit, we mistimed your lease start date with the city’s issuance of the certificates that legally permit you to occupy the home. While we were able to cover the costs of a hotel room for the 1-day delayed lease start, we completely understand how frustrating that is, and we further apologize for the inconvenience.
To specifically address the appliances you mentioned: unfortunately, we also mistimed and miscommunicated these to you. While the fridge and hot water were addressed within the first couple days of move in, we failed to communicate to you that this home came with a vent a hood but no microwave. In the future, we can and will do a better job to ensure timely delivery and over-communicate when we see a potential risk in that timing.
2. You’ve since felt that your attempts to reach out and get the needed repairs have been less than hassle free.
Our goal is to always make addressing your maintenance and repair needs as easy and quick-to-resolve as possible. In the majority of cases, we are able to accomplish this with a cloud-based maintenance system that streamlines coordination with our vendors and our residents and 24/7 access to a maintenance hotline. With new construction homes, however, these items are handled by the Builder as part of the warranty. Our standard process here has been to issue the ticket to the Builder, but what we lacked was a follow up action to ensure your needs were appropriately addressed. We’ve taken your feedback to our team and are planning to incorporate a solution as a part of the next series of Maintenance Process upgrades we’ve been working on delivering to our residents.
I completely understand your frustration with our service not meeting your expectations at Move-In; however, we’re hopeful that we’ll be able to redeem ourselves and service your needs better as we continue to work together. If I’ve left any of your feedback unaddressed, please don’t hesitate to reach out at [email protected] so we can help troubleshoot directly.
Best,
Kahala
