Ken E.
RUDE dispatcher in San Francisco
We had a reservation for a ride from the San Francisco airport to our hotel on Fisherman's Wharf. My only issue with the driver was the fact he was in a conversation on the phone in a foreign language for probably 10 minutes. However, I had a horrific conversation with your dispatcher! I called for our ride at 3:36 pm on 5/13. I should explain that I am hearing disabled, so it was difficult to understand him in the environment of the baggage claim. While I was trying to tell him our exact location I received a call from Tonelli Luciano. I thought I had lost the original call, so I picked up the new call. Tonelli said I needed to talk to the dispatch. When I switched back, the original person started being rude to me. He asked me if I wanted to know where to go, which was obviously why I was on the phone with him. This was aggravating, so I probably showed that in my response. After already giving him my location he asked me again where I was located in the airport. He next told me it was very simple that I just needed to go upstairs to meet the driver. I probably repeated that back to be sure I heard him correctly. At this point he said I was like a "child" and asked, then insisted he would stay on the line while we went to meet the driver. He said that was how "you people" need to be treated. He continued to call me a "child" and said he was going to stay on the line. I told him I could not talk to him while walking. He kept calling me a "child", so I yelled at him to "shut up" and put the phone in my back pocket but forgot to hang up as was my intention. The driver called me about a minute later when we got upstairs to the appropriate spot. I don't know the name of the individual who answered my call when we were ready to be picked up, but this was extremely disturbing conversation - he was the rudest person I have spoken with in all the years I can remember. It may have been a little challenging to talk with me, especially because I have some difficulty hearing, but that is absolutely NO EXCUSE for the treatment I received talking with this individual. He is clearly NOT qualified to interface with a customer!
Response from GO Airport ShuttleAug 18, 2026
Hi Ken, First and foremost, I’m glad you were able to connect with your driver, but I sincerely apologize for the interaction you described with our San Francisco dispatch team. The comments and treatment you experienced are not consistent with how we expect anyone representing the GO brand to communicate with our customers. We take your concerns seriously, particularly given the difficulty you were having hearing in a busy airport environment. I’m passing your feedback directly to the head of Customer Service at our national office so the interaction can be investigated with the local team and addressed appropriately.
