The basket was delivered to the incorrect address and this “family centered” company said there was nothing they could do about it. What a Wow it would have been if they did correct the mistake!!!
That is a shame as I was looking forward to it but I guess they really don’t care.

Terrible Product
I the Gourmet Snack & Chocolate Basket (item 3524A). The basket that was delivered was absolutely awful.
Per the product description, the basket was supposed to contain “ Assorted gourmet snacks” and “Assorted gourmet chocolates.” First of all, the basket itself looked as though it was purchased in a dollar store. Second, the snacks and chocolates that were sent are: small pack of Oreos; small pack of Chips Ahoy; Tates Bake Shop; small bag of Wonderful Pistachios; a Lindt chocolate bar; a block of Cabot cheese; small box of Brenton crackers; & a plastic baggie of strawberries. What?? In what world are these “gourmet” snacks?
I understand that the basket on their webpage “is a sample snack & chocolate basket” and that “the actual item delivered as well as its container will vary depending upon local availability.”
Nevertheless, this gift was absolutely atrocious and certainly not worth the $85+ that I spent on it. I am embarrassed that it was delivered to my father as a birthday gift.

I first encountered this website for my son's bday, yet the calendar stated it would no be delivered in time. A week later I ordered a basket that was estimated to be delivered on time. Three days later...it may deliver today.

I ordered three baskets for Easter for…
I ordered three baskets for Easter for my family, I normally order from Harry and David. Only one arrived before Easter, at the wrong address. I tried by emailing, customer service and calling to try to stop the other two as I transposed two numbers in the address. As it was a holiday, no one would respond or stop the orders, the second one went to a total stranger, they kept it, the last was returned as the office stopped it knowing no one lived in that unit. I sat on hold for 20 minutes on Tuesaday, left a message and got a call back basically telling me too bad. The third basket, although was chocolate, they said no refund, but I could spend more money and try again. Terrible experience...never again.

3 Months to reply and say the Basket was lost in transit
My recent experience with Gourmetgiftbaskets.com has been incredibly disappointing. I placed an order 3 months ago and despite sending a follow-up inquiry, I received no updates on the status of my order. It was only now that I was informed that the basket was lost in transit. This level of communication and service is completely unacceptable.
As someone who regularly sends gifts to clients in the USA, I relied on Gourmetgiftbaskets.com to deliver on their promise of timely service. However, they failed to meet even the basic standards of customer care. Despite their claims on their website about understanding the importance of timely deliveries, their actions speak otherwise.
Needless to say, I will not be using Gourmetgiftbaskets.com again, and I will make sure to inform my network about my disappointing experience. Potential customers should be aware of the lackluster service they can expect from Gourmetgiftbaskets.com.
Overall, my experience with Gourmetgiftbaskets.com has been extremely disappointing, and I urge others to consider alternative options for their gift-giving needs.

Awful Customer Service/Late Delivery
A week ago, I eagerly ordered a box of delectable cookies for my beloved husband to celebrate Valentine's Day. Imagine my shock and dismay when, on the very day of love itself, February 14th, I discovered that the order would not grace our doorstep as anticipated.
Furious and frustrated, I immediately reached out to customer service, only to be met with abysmal treatment from a representative who seemed utterly devoid of empathy. Despite my repeated pleas for a solution, she callously offered a mere 10% discount, a paltry gesture considering the magnitude of the situation.
Refusing to accept such a feeble resolution, I demanded to speak with a supervisor, only to be met with excuses for their unavailability. It was clear that no one was willing to take responsibility for the utter debacle unfolding before me.
To add insult to injury, when I raised the issue of the exorbitant delivery fee I had been charged, I was met with a resounding refusal to refund it, despite their own policy promising such restitution in the event of delayed delivery.
The sheer audacity and rudeness of the customer service representative left me reeling. My meticulously planned surprise for my husband lay in ruins, and yet there was not a hint of apology or remorse from the company responsible.
In a desperate attempt to seek redress, I even took the time to send an email detailing my grievances, only to be met with deafening silence in response.
I am utterly shocked and profoundly disappointed by the utter lack of professionalism and accountability displayed by this company.

Products & Customer Service both STALE
I placed an order for the "Taste of Christmas" gift basket on December 17th, intending for it to be delivered by December 23rd. However, upon receiving feedback from my father-in-law the day after Christmas, it was evident that the majority of the snacks were stale. Generally, vacuum-sealed food has a shelf life of 1-2 months, but it depends on factors such as storage conditions.
It's disheartening that the company, despite anticipating a holiday rush, didn't ensure the freshness of the products in the baskets. I contacted Customer Service on December 26th, reporting the issue through the site and leaving a review. Strangely, they claimed not to have received the email, and my review, except for the 5-star ratings, mysteriously disappeared.
On January 18th, I received an email from a Personal Gift Concierge named Allyson Kilduff, expressing gratitude for my order (singular, though I placed 3 orders). I shared my bad experience with her, but after a week passed without a response, I followed up. She claimed not to have seen my reply initially and offered a replacement, which I declined, requesting a refund instead. She issued the refund, promising it would take 5-7 business days.
Despite being told on January 25th that the refund was being processed within the specified timeframe, I had not received it by February 3rd. Allyson assured me on February 5th that it was still processing, asking for a few more days. As of February 12th, I have yet to receive the refund, prompting me to initiate a dispute with my bank, given their 90-day window.
Considering my negative experience and feedback from others in different states, I advise potential customers to check reviews outside the company's site before placing orders. My recommendation is to avoid ordering from them altogether. In the future, I plan to create my own gift baskets from vendors with known fresh products, citing Home Goods as a reliable option, where snacks even come with expiration dates.

Extremely Misleading and Non Existent Customer Service
The gift basket I sent for Christmas 2023 only included some of the items that were in the photo, on the website. I emailed them immediately with photos and I followed up on the email twice. I did not hear back until today, February 6th, 2024; and with an email that did not address anything l said. Furthermore, it made little sense. I will say the recipient said the items were very tasty. However , I will never use this site again. Customer service is awful, reliability is awful. I would Negative Stars, if I could. Do not shop here!
