I spent about three months researching resume companies and finally decided to turn Anout Jobs . I am so happy I did . I made contact via email and they were so responsive . From the start to completion of my resume building which was approximately a week ,they were very professional ; they met every timeline given whether it was for a call , first draft and final delivery . I am so pleased with the great job they did with my resume , cover letter etc. that I would definitely recommend them for any of their services.

Great response time on revised resume

A friend purchased a resume package for me two years before I followed up on it. I did the initial resume assessment, and I loved the honest feedback. But I then became overwhelmed with the questionnaire to complete so they can best pair you with your resume writer, and that writer can help you with the content of your resume and cover letter. That questionnaire sat in my inbox for two years, and it haunted me. I kept trying to fix my old resume, and it wasn't bad. It was just okay. However, It did not answer the employer question: “What will you do for me?” I took the plunge and decided to not be a perfectionist, and to just fill out the questionnaire in the best way I could. I e-mailed it back to the company on a Friday afternoon. They still had my receipt on file, and they were happy to help. Within one hour, I got a response from my certified resume writer with an appointed time for a phone interview on the upcoming Monday morning. My resume writer was focused, professional, and thoughtful in how she probed to gain additional information when I struggled to articulate. Even though there were questions that I could not answer, she was unfazed. “Don’t worry. I’m okay without that information.” At the end of the interview, she was clear about the timeline for project completion. I knew what to expect, moving forward. Eight hours later, I received a draft copy of my resume and cover letter for me to approve. I opened the document and began to read. My mouth fell open. She perfectly captured me on paper, and it was the best version of me that I’ve ever seen. She was accurate and thorough, and my resume and cover letter are an honest representation of what I offer to those who open these documents. I wrote back to her with a couple of minor revisions. She got back to me within the hour to let me know when I could expect the updated version. I had it the next day. Every time I read this resume, I’m stunned. I feel like I gave her straw, and she gave me gold. I spent years working on my resume and cover letter. Then I spent more time worrying about whether they were good enough. She spent eight hours, and now I don’t worry if they’re good enough any more. The cost was worth it. I looked at it in the same way as I look at the cost of purchasing new clothes for an interview. I would just totally not waste my time doing my own resume any more. It’s more helpful to have someone who isn’t you, who can step back and help shine light on all that you are, and all that you’ve accomplished. I couldn't do that; she could. And she did.

Everything was excellent except when it comes to call customer for details , I think you should add options to customers on how to contact them such as: calls through mobile phone or skype or WhatsApp calls ... etc special thanks to Ms. Paula for her professional service and attitude Thanks

Maryann Riggs was a pleasure once again to work with to update my resume. Her follow up questions to extract my work history was dead on. I was referred to Got The Job by my sister, who had a great experience. After reviewing their products, I had questions about how the process worked. I must say, Got The Job is a fantastic organization. Because of some fairly unique circumstances and where I am located in the world, I emailed the general delivery box, and received a reply within a very short period of time (lag was due to timezone differences). My reply came from the president of the organization! Talk about customer service! When my resume was assigned to the writer, communication was constant and very informative and professional. After providing the requested documentation (plus some extra), we made arrangements to speak via telephone. Living in Japan, my resume writer called me, saving me some serious expense. Within 24 hours of speaking, I had a 90% solution in my hands for review. In all honesty, it was closer to a 98% solution. Having purchased the Silver package, after approving the Resume, I was provided with suggested information for linkedin. Being frank, the content suggested was a significant improvement. I haven't had any additional views on my profile, yet; however, I edited it yesterday. Time will tell how effective it is. Conducting a military to civilian transition isn't easy. It's even harder when you're trying to write your own resume. You may be great at writing for or about other folks; however, writing about yourself is difficult. Got The Job and Paula (the writer assigned to me) did a fantastic job. As I live in Japan, I haven't sent my resume out just yet. I anticipate getting some bites as soon as it goes out, that is the quality of the product I have received. Military folks, or anyone for that matter, if you're reading this, please don't hesitate; reach out to Got The Job today!
