unfortunately the VPN protection is too weak for the counter system that are existing in China; very often the software was recording a network interference and so stopping the data flow; sometimes also the interference were able to stop GoTrusted.

maybe it was my credit card info which was bad, but i tried ot re-register via paypal and was immediately kicked out of the service. I wanted to sign up but could not.

Sometime it took about 15 to 20 minutes to connect to go trusted secure tunnel.

The software experienced interruptions during use.

Frequent disconnects, even after several support emails. Slow speed issues. Need more reliable servers.

Totally Worth those few bucks a month if you're going to be away for a while. Access to social media but also to information and news sites that are unavailable for no reason in China. Because being blocked all the time for three months during my stay in China just was not part of my plan I opted for GoTrusted. Worked on my laptop as well as on both my Android cell phones. The bad part is the fact that I had to try to reconnect (or simply just connect) dozens of times a day because sometimes the VPN would work for only 5-10mn. That being said, not sure the entire fault was on GoTrusted, as the chinese internet connexions that I came accross were all very slow and/or bad.

This was the first time ever using this. I spent a week in China and could not log in to my gmail so needed this. I plan to be back in 3 months. I would use it again, but will not need during the 3 months I am not there so I stopped subscription. The log in process was sometimes upto 1 minute long. This seemed a bit long to me. Reliable access to Gmail in China is normally a pain. After loading GoTrusted, my Gmail suddenly worked and I could upload and download attachments again. I did lose access to my printer but after raising the issue with Tech support it was quickly solved. The only ongoing niggle was that some links on webpages would hang. The work around was switching Gotrusted on and off as required, which you can do as a single button click.
