I work for gotranscript as a transcriber and editor
I work for them and I can say I try my best to deliver accurate and faithful transcriptions. I enjoy what I do and really try to deliver a good customer experience. Unfortunately, a lot of people upload for transcription some very difficult to hear audios and I presume they expect miracles. The quality of the audio is paramount to the quality of the transcript. The only reason that I don't rate them five stars is because their team which rates editors only rated two of my 100+ edits, and as a consequence, I now have to wait 60 minutes before I can take on an editing job after it appears. That made me go look for other transcription sites as well. Overall, good company that pays more than the average per audio minute,

Professional and precise
I've been working here for a month already and the pay is great for someone from a non-US country. The editors are very professional and sometimes very strict so that the clients can get the best quality transcriptions. The only thing I don't like is that the editors like to cross-out my words and then write the same ones as mine just so they can add more mistakes to my transcription and thus lower my rating, which I then have to struggle to increase again. That is the only reason for giving them 4 stars.

Good service
Prospective clients should choose GoTranscripts for quality transcriptions. The systems put in place to ensure quality output are rigorous. It is also a decent company to work for, the support is good. There is also adequate time allocated to finish the transcriptions. They should, however, consider paying better than the listed amount for transcriptions that are rated 5 by editors to encourage the workers to be more accurate. It also would be great if you sent the payments instead of asking workers to send invoices since you have the log for the jobs properly completed. Nevertheless, GoTranscript is a good service!
