Gooten: Print on DemandReviews of gooten.com

Gooten had a system failure on [date] that prevented me from submitting order #11386643, 11382674. Support did not respond promptly, so I had to place the order with another provider (Printify) to avoid delaying my customer. Lost time and inconvenience. Not recommended until reliability improves.

Used to be the best out there, but recently have become a complete failure, and they will blame you for their lack of truth and delays in production. Customer for over 4 years and ran multiple 6 figures of product through them.

I have been using Gooten for over a year now. For mostly Woven Blankets and desk mats. I have consistently received 5 star reviews on Etsy until the past month. My customers were not getting their products on time. Products were just sitting in production. No messages from Gooten. Then their website started returning 404 errors. They didn't update the facebook group to tell us anything. I had about 5 deskmats come through in one day only for them to charge me for them, the deskmats sit for days and then randomly send me an email saying they are SOLD OUT! I was sending emails daily. Their turn around time for responding to emails is 4 days! 36 business hours! Business hours are 9-5. In the midst of this, my woven blankets started just sitting again in production for long times. My blankets range from $93-$149. They kept telling me that despite what the website says is shipping time, the production is within SLA. Then a full 8 days later they finally sent an email saying their were issues with the production partner. Technical issues. But things are still on track to send out blankets.. Blankets went from shipping in a week to 2.5-3 weeks. I had one order come in I didn't see that was charged so I left it to see if I'd continue with Gooten. It took almost 3 weeks to receive the blanket. The lady sent me a message 2 days ago showing the blanket. It was the worst blanket I've ever seen! Colors were wrong, the images were skewed. It was horrible. I've disconnected all 3 of my stores and deactivated all of my listings. I am done with Gooten! I am moving all of my listings to Shopify. I have purchased a blanket from Shopify and it looks identical to Gooten. Save yourself time and heartache and skip Gooten.

For me it was so complex to link my Shopify shop to Gooten's services (and comparing Shopify's AI-like support with Gooten's super old-school support - you ask a question and you get the usual list of ‘related topics’ that barely resolves your queries) that I've opted to print it myself, annoyingly. Besides, I didn't find Gooten's prices competitive, to be honest.

12 Days in production and still counting. So I had my first order with Gooten and what a nightmare it is. I placed an order on 6th of July, first they held my order for manual review, numerous email and it went into production on 9th. The app showed a shipping estimate date between 10-13. Great work! Just 3 days. What I didn't know was what scumbags are there sitting at Gooten. Today I am on day 11, no idea of shipment and got a chargeback from my customer as well. Countless email to them, can't even keep a count. When I mailed, they are coming up with their servers are fried due to overheating and they lost all data, I mean what kind of a company you are. I got to know about the issue when I mailed, else there was nothing from them. I would have just waited for f.. 12 days. Customer support takes 3 days to reply to one ticket, when I update, another 3 days to reply to that ticket. SCAMM!!!!!!!!!!

Gooten spams you and misrepresents the e-mail to boot. There was an attachment. Not daring to open...Needless to say I have never had dealings with them. Here is the e-mail below with my actual info redacted to generic terms in the brackets: You've recieved a document from HP LaserJet Pro Scanner. It was scanned and sent to [my email address].com using a HP WorkCentre on Office365 Portal. Number of Images: 1 File Name: [My company]_Payment Confirmation Device Name: HP LaserJet Pro Attachment File Type: RTF For more information on HP products and solutions, please visit

I have been getting shirts printed for some time with pretty good results. The last order I placed, the design was smaller on some shirts than others. I tool pictures and got a reprint. The second order was wrong too! Then they wanted another picture that include all 5 shirts next to each other. I sent that. Then they wanted a new picture with all shirts so the size tags were showing. Now, that is impossible. They obviously did not trust that I was telling them the truth. Putting me through a bunch of BS to prove printed them wrong! I am very disillusioned with this company now and will be finding someone else to print my shirts.

Had a test shirt designed and printed before deciding to more companies. Luckily we did the test run. The logo was perfect centered as designed but the text underneath was crooked with about a half of inch of rise from left to right. I then followed the Company’s policy by providing a picture and description of the issue asking for a reprint and giving Gooten the opportunity to correct the mistake. They failed horribly. The lengthy email response was confusing and contradictory but ultimately claimed the text was not crooked. They then when on to say that the improper printing is “within industry standards” and issuing reprints that are within industry standards would drive up their costs. UPDATE: After further communication I was able to convince Gooten of the error and they issued a reprint. Will provide further update after receiving the reprint.
