Got scheduled a repair through my home warranty, after ghosting us on the first appointment where we waited 4 hours in the afternoon. The appointment was rescheduled for 7 Days later and while waiting for that appointment I received message that the repair person was not going to be available to come out for an additional 11 days after the fact... I would not use or recommend for anybody

Goodman Home Services was chosen by my warranty company for repairs to my Whirlpool dishwasher that is less than 6 months old. The service was 1st scheduled for the 4th of the month. I got a call from HGS to re- schedule for the 9th. On the 8th They called again to re-schedule for the 18th. After a lengthy and not very positive conversation I was told that it was the earliest day available. The lady kept apologizing like it wasn't the 1st time she had to do it, I am sure there have been many other times. She said that they have only 1 technician that serves a city of over 200,000 with a metro area of almost 600,000. I have been without my machine for over a month now. I called the warranty company, and I am now searching for someone else to do the work. I will not recommend this company to fix anything and after reading the reviews from others it don't sound like anyone else will either. What fly by night poorly managed company it must be. So, I am not even sure if my washer would be repaired properly anyway. DO NOT use these people it will be a mistake. What a sorry excuse for a "service" company. These days it just seems like you can't get what you pay for. I am worn out by their excuses. Unacceptable !!

whirlpool assigned my refrigerator claim to them and they dragged it out for over a month before they finally made it to my house. They kept cancelling the appointment and rescheduling for a week+ later. A REFRIGERATOR!! Not sure how they think that is acceptable. It doesn't end there. They got to the house and they said that there was too much frost built up and that all I had to do was leave it unplugged for 3 days and it would work again. They did nothing but got paid and closed out the claim. That of courser didn't fix the issue. They didn't check back in. I had to file another claim and I was originally assigned june 3 and then I got a message saying they weren't available until the 9th. I guess their goal is to get paid and do nothing and leave you in a desperate situation so you give up and buy a new one.

Was a horrible experience

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the consistently poor… no I would say terrible service I have received from Home good solutions. Getting a repair person to actually follow through with the instructions I was given and show up, seems to be a miracle. The first scheduled appointment I had, you had failed to update my telephone number which I asked you to do several times so he had no way of reaching us (which we were not aware of). After waiting four hours, he never showed up. The next repair person also did not text us. After calling your company, I found he was running late on the appointment before us. Now you would figure we I would be next on the list for the next morning…but no we had to wait another week. Finaly a technicians showed up a week later. He said he fixed it. By the second wash the original problem was back. He then revisited my home (the scheduling of those visits was still like pulling teeth) but was unable to successfully repair my washing machine again. He ordered parts, once they arrived another appointment was set up with the four-hour window. When the four hours were up, we texted the repair person who not only didn’t respond to our text but once again never showed up.

They have not even come out to do my repair but I cannot get through to them by phone or web site, even if I use the links they sent. Bunch of cowboys

This company has rescheduled my appointment 4 times since March 27th of 2026 and has not showed up at the designated time indicated for the appointment. In addition, when they rescheduled they only reached out to me once to let me know the day before that they would not be coming. I have experienced nothing but frustration and trauma in dealing with them and cannot trust the appointment that I am given. I have never experienced such a blatant disregard for the customer and low level of professionalism. I would not recommend using this company for your appliance repairs.
