I would like to thank Chris Lee and Lana in Houston for their persistent and professional actions in getting RMF to release documents in order to transfer my loan balance to new lender. RMF was apparently engaged in some kind of delay tactics in releasing documents. Chris was also very helpful in answering all my questions while I was at his office filling out documents. I originally contacted 5 reverse mtg. companies. Goodlife had the best numbers for me. When I was blessed with Chris Lee as a counselor I knew I had the right company!!! He kept us informed and answered ALL questions. This is not what most people do everyday so a good counselor is key especially dealing with seniors and their homes!!! I wish I could give more than five stars, it’s a really great company and the people who helped me were excellent! I really appreciated that they went through everything with me in detail, making sure I understood what was happening, each step of the way. When they said they were going to do something, they did it, and they did it on time. For example, the gentleman who gave us the required classes was very patient and explained things in detail; he made sure we understood the process. Joyce Lau, the notary that came to my house, was very, very good. She was detailed, and she answered all our questions. She explained every step to me and my daughter-in-law (who was helping me). I would highly recommend her. And last but not least, Chris Lee, is the BEST! He is absolutely wonderful, very patient and he helped me A LOT. Chris was the one who would always call me. Not only did he leave clear, detailed messages, he would always double check to make sure I got his messages. I am very bad with computers and I had my daughter-in-law and other sister helping me too. Chris was a team player and went above and beyond to make sure we all knew what was going on, since he knew they were helping me. As new details would come up, he immediately called me or texted me or emailed the girls. And that was very, very special to me. I trust him completely, and I highly recommend him! Chris with good Home was very helpful for me getting a reverse mortgage It took great patience getting all the paperwork, new insurance, clearing up a past debt, and such There were several delays and not by him, but because of other factors. When we decided to look into a Reverse Mortgage, we searched various companies and read many reviews.
