Hi Margaret, We’re sorry you had a poor experience filling information in on the portal. For current employment we often see candidates use today’s date or “current” which is also accepted in the end date field. We require a phone number for employment or education verifications. If your previous employer or school is no longer in existence, you can use the last known phone number or fill in 000-000-0000 due to the lack of a working number.
