Golden Standard BuybacksReviews of goldenstandardbuybacks.com

I recently sold my phone through this buyback company and had a great experience from start to finish. The process was simple, straightforward, and easy to follow. I received a fair quote for my device, and the shipping instructions were clear and convenient. Once they received my phone, the inspection was completed quickly and payment was sent promptly as promised. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and I was kept informed every step of the way. I appreciate the transparency, professionalism, and efficiency of the service. If you're looking for a reliable company to sell your old phone, I would definitely recommend them. I would not hesitate to use their service again in the future.

Absolute scam. Was told in March what my payout would be. Two weeks later they lowered the offer they told me it would be, despite the condition I knew my three phones were in. I agreed anyways. Still have not received payout and it is June tomorrow. Absolutely scam of a company. Have already submitted BBB complaint and US Fraud reportfraud.ftc.gov -- Next Usps inspector general and small claims court.

if I could put a negative my problem with this company, I would I sent them two phones. I was given a $700 quote for February 2026. I have not received the money for the phones and they have not returned the phones my number please do not use this company. They are a complete scam

I was looking for a reliable company to sell my old phone after upgrading, and I’m really glad I chose this one. They offered one of the highest payouts I found online, which definitely caught my attention. The process did take about a week and a half, but they kept me updated every step of the way, which I really appreciated. There was a small issue on my end since I listed my phone as mint when it wasn’t, but they handled it professionally and clearly explained the revised offer. In the end, everything went smoothly and I received my payment without any problems. Overall, great communication, fair pricing, and a trustworthy experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to sell their device!

I made a bad review several days ago. I had sent my iphone to the company for an agreed price plus $5 bonus in March. I had not received payment as of late April. I also had received little to no communication as to status. I contacted them by email many times with excuses about short staff, etc. but finally I reached someone who seemed to be helping. However, she quickly became hard to reach as well. I was starting to feel scammed again, but she finally came through. I did receive my payment and was promised an additional bonus for my trouble. We will see if that occurs or not, but I did get paid after a while. They did offer more money than most other places out there for the phone, So I would recommend that if you deal with this company, be patient and expect it to take a little time to resolve. At least, in my case, I no longer feel that it is a scam, but a company that has appatently poor communication priorities.

Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from these scammers. My son sent his phone in, was given a price for the device, and it’s now been almost two months and still no payment. Pretty sad a company can take advantage of people like that.

I shipped my phone to them and was informed they were experiencing a backlog, but they still processed my payment in a timely manner. The entire process took less than a week from the time they received the device. Overall, it was a smooth experience—especially compared to other online companies that often take much longer.

Scam Alert! They have had my iPhone 13x for 5 months and all I have received is lame excuses. Do not send them your phone unless you just want to donate it to them. I think all of their good reviews are fake. My experience sounds just like the other bad reviews.
