On 6/23/26 at approximately 5:00pm my husband and I came to dinner. The owner was here checking temperatures and I decided to get some pork chops as I had them before and were really good. This last time I was cutting them up and noticed the pork was very pink as it was undercooked. As we explained this to the manager Christina she signed our receipt and said next time it was on her. So this time we came in on 7/11/26 at 2:00pm Christina argued with us stating she never said any of the sort. She was rude as she normally is however she was ruder than normal. Jennifer the other manager stood there and said nothing. Jennifer knows us as we come in quite a bit. We will be getting a hold of corporate about this matter as Christina’s word meant nothing. If nothing changes we will be getting a hold of the health department as this could cause food Bourne illness. Someone from corporate can contact me at 8507168984

We ate at the Elk Grove Golden Carrel buffet restaurant for Father’s Day and were surprised when we were charged more for the senior discount. We didn’t expect to pay an additional $5 each for holiday and pay an additional $7.50 if we wanted to have a lobster tail. We are low income elders and it’s difficult to pay an additional fee for a holiday meal on a fixed income. The food selection seemed to be the normal menu items that we ate there in the past. Please consider this for future reference. Thanks.

Went to kingsport Golden Corral for lunch on Saturday 6/6/26. Menu states build your own burger, there weren’t any burgers only hotdogs. The hot buffet didn’t have any meatloaf, pot roast, mashed potatoes or corn, nut these are listed on the menu. The ice cream machine was another story. The vanilla side was broken and the chocolate side came out like syrup. Such a total disappointment!! Definitely will not be going back!

Simply god awfeel. Everything.tastes the same . The air conditioning is so.cold u should have worn a fur coat. No.spoons though all the food was like soup. The desserts were soupy too

My daughter and I went for breakfast. Everything was COLD. Buiscits, gravy, hash browns, eggs, sausage and bacon. I know it is a buffet, but something should be HOT. For the price, it was terrible. Will NOT Be going back for breakfast again.

Had a great experience in Appleton, Wi. recently. Food was excellent and our server was really attentive as well (can't remember her name though unfortunately)...

3/19/2026 @5:20pm - Store 625 - 13145 Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX - Had a very pool dining experience 3 Adults and 1 Child the bill was 70.63. After sampling most of the food on the buffet I could the see that most of the food I had selected was off temperature, dry, and tasteless. I was disappointed to find my family was feeling the same way about the food. When we arrived, my family went to the rest rooms to wash hand, the restrooms were unclean. I communicated my experience to the manager at that time, He said he would take care of my concerns. After waiting awhile to give manager some time to correct thing. We sampled the food a second time and was experiencing some of the same issues including restroom was still nasty. I asked the manager for refund, he said he couldn't give me a refund. Went to speak to General Manager that was sitting in one of the overflow rooms, I explained the experience we were having. The first thing out of his mouth was, "You can't come in here", I ask him for a refund. He seemed upset and said to me "everything is up to Golden Correl standards". Asked General Manager again for refund, he asked me to leave and said he would call the Police. To keep the peace and to not to cause a commotion we left restaurant. There is one of the very best Golden Corral is at 12500 Gulf Fry, Houston, TX. It would be very beneficial for Golden Corral Corporation improve low-performing restaurants by have General Managers and Mangers work under Management at the above location. The Management team at the Gulf Fwy has it right, "it couldn't be better". Thank you,

As a British person, I have been to USA 4 times and have eaten at the Golden Coral many times. Food is cheap and the choice is great. I have enjoyed every visit with the only problem is being too full when I leave. Just wish we had this restaurant in the UK.
