Terrible experience so far. They do not respond to voicemails well after closing. Adan said would not be an issue to register the semi in another state now after sale they are saying I can not register through the company I have my other equipment leased with. I’m allowed to run their dot and put the lease company name on the truck and use lease company insurance but not their plates. Payoff amount went up over 15k from financed amount at closing as well

My experience with Currency Finance was…
My experience with Currency Finance was extremely disappointing, mainly because of the lack of communication and follow-through from Jonathan.
I originally connected with Jonathan back in May and kept his contact information because I intended to work with him when I was ready to finance my equipment. I kept my word, came back to him, provided what was requested, stayed responsive, and did my part throughout the process. Unfortunately, I did not receive that same level of professionalism in return.
Communication was terrible. There were long periods with little to no meaningful updates, and I constantly felt like I was left wondering what was going on with my application instead of being kept informed. When someone is trying to make a major business purchase, communication from their financing agent is extremely important. Clients should not have to continuously chase someone down just to find out where things stand.
I was patient because I had been planning to work with Jonathan for months, but the experience ended up being a huge disappointment. I expected someone handling business financing to communicate clearly, follow up when promised, and show some level of urgency toward helping a client complete a transaction.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Jonathan or Currency Finance. The lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism made an already stressful financing process even more frustrating. I genuinely expected much better from both the agent and the company.

Serious Buyer Treated Like I Was Wasting Their Time
My experience with Currency and my sales rep, Mitch, was disappointing. I was seriously looking to purchase a truck and actually went to inspect the truck twice before deciding not to move forward because I found issues that could potentially cause problems for my business.
Instead of understanding that I was doing my due diligence before making a major purchase, Mitch told me he didn’t want to keep having his credit and funding teams “waste time” if I wasn’t moving forward with a truck. I didn’t appreciate that comment at all. Looking at a truck carefully and walking away from one that doesn’t meet my needs isn’t wasting anyone’s time—it’s making a responsible business decision.
I was prepared to finance and purchase the right truck, but after the way the situation was handled, I decided I would rather take my business elsewhere. Customer service matters, especially when someone is making a significant investment in commercial equipment.

Look elsewhere Currency is not worth the headache
Currency is the worst financial institution I have ever worked with, they operate under an umbrella utilizing several different company names. From what I’ve been able to piece together myself they act as a broker and supposedly they have their own financial department. I’m currently paying yellow iron through auto pay but it’s a currency loan. If you choose to provide your own equipment insurance there are issues every year processing your declaration pages. Mine come from the same agent and insurance company for the last 3 years and claim the pages are wrong every year and issue their own policy. I’d you do not catch this right away they will not refund the extra monies deducted through direct deposit for their policy. They do not provide any actual information that can be confirmed and become a smart ass when questioned about their extremely vague answers if that’s what you would call them. Anthony and Justin especially are supposedly the highest managers and are not professional at all when their vague answers are questioned. I am currently working on finding further contact information to hopefully bypass these guys as it seems like they are also being used as gate keepers.

Go Currency lied to me
Go Currency lied to me! They ran a hard inquiry on my credit and they’re continuing to lie to me over the phone saying it was a soft inquiry. I spoke to equifax, they told me it was a hard pull and Go Currency need to make the adjustments. Yet, an unprofessional, untrained trainee is continuing to lied to me and wrote a nasty unprofessional email. I NEVER consent to a hard pull on my credit or even a soft pull on my credit! I will Never do business with Go Currency! Now I know why there is a high turnover rate at currency because employees are tired of lying to customers and receiving bad karma from being untrustworthy! No supervisor has called me, yet you all keep having a trainee call me to tell me continuous lies!

Their ad popped up on a aircarft…
Their ad popped up on a aircarft marketing site and I was curious about financing for an aircarft I was thinking about purchasing. I went through their application process, was assigned a "person", whom I emailed three times without a response. If anyone from the company wishes to reach out, I would share that info.

**Stay Away!**
**Stay Away!**
At first, the rep from Currency made it seem like everything would be quick and easy. He pulled my credit, said I was an A-tier buyer, and assured me we were good to go. But after that, everything went downhill.
Days passed with no updates. I followed up and told him the seller was ready to deliver the equipment and we needed to close by the end of the week. He again promised we were all set. Friday came and went—no communication. He ghosted both me and the seller.
On Monday, he finally called to ask me to unlock my credit *again*, even though I'd already done so for a full week the first time. When I finally got the financial documents, the interest rate was much higher than originally discussed—despite my strong credit. They tacked on a nearly $600 documentation fee on a $15,000 loan and wanted three payments in the first month: two right away and then the first month’s installment just weeks later.
Frustrated, I contacted another finance company. Within **two hours**, I had an approval with an interest rate 4% lower, **no documentation fee**, and straightforward terms. I immediately dropped Currency.
They wasted an entire week just to pad the deal with excessive fees and a high interest rate. I truly don’t understand how they have an A+ rating—this was one of the worst financing experiences.

High pressure and interest
I have good credit and was rate shopping to buy equipment from an auction house. They would say one thing and try to do another. Very high pressure and try to make it seem like they are doing you a favor. A total waste of time
