BEWARE - Company uses TOS as aggressive means to deny redemptions
Under no circumstance should you use this service without fully reading the terms of service and deciding whether you're willing to invest money that will likely turn to dust. I tried this service out and ended up "pulling" a 5080 graphics card. I was ecstatic, redeemed it and set it up for shipping. I was informed that immediately upon verification (which I submitted same day) that the order would be fulfilled. Multiple days after this redemption and verification (they claim that it was the same day and I can't really prove this one way or another), I opened an additional account with my wife both out of disbelief (as we were quite skeptical about an initial payment in order to redeem) and more to show various friends and coworkers, as I was unaware of the Demo option until later and the promotional boxes gave me the means to show people the spins themselves. I made no attempts to redeem any pulled items from the promotional boxes as I was not attempting to defraud the company. I then spent additional money on the original account as I thought the experience was fun, I wanted to support the company and was satisfied fully with the understanding that my original account pull was truly a stroke of luck. Two weeks after the initial "win" I followed up with support on the status. Even though these additional accounts were created AFTER this win was made on my original account, and there was demonstrably no fraudulent wins or redemption, the company used these additional accounts, as justification based on the TOS to suspend the original account and cancel the order. As demonstrated by other reviews, Goatbox does not use this clause in their terms to actually protect their interests. It is written to encompass ANY additional accounts at ANY time for ANY reason at their sole discretion, including accounts that you've deactivated through their site service (which I did on the Demo accounts). While I can understand that from a perspective of people opening multiple accounts in an attempt to defraud them. In my case the company was delighted to use that clause to escape from their obligations. Buyers beware, this company will happily take your money on what amounts to a gambling site disguised as a "mystery shopping experience". But if you actually unbox anything substantial they will absolutely hold off on shipping you your item in the hopes they can weasel out using FUTURE violations of their terms of their service. Originally I would have (and did) recommended the experience to anyone. But they will absolutely look for reasons to not fulfill any substantial winnings, shielding themselves behind a TOS that essentially allows them to do whatever they want at their own discretion. They're more than happy to allow you to SPEND money and transform it into virtual dust, but if you actually WIN anything, they weaponize their TOS to its fullest potential. Edit: After communication with support, and their own admitted review of the timeline (they even admit that the original account was the one that pulled the item), they are holding firm. They did at a minimum allegedly refund the money that I spent on the platform, so I am not at true financial loss, aside from a broken promise to someone else. However, the fact that they confirmed my verification AFTER admitting this timeline, re-established my original account, and invited me to continue using the service, just further demonstrates my own outline here. This was never about actually protecting themselves from harm from fraudulent accounts attempting to scam their promotional boxes. This is an excuse for them to deny a payout. They're more than happy to keep taking my money going forward. The company has demonstrated itself as unethical and you should be very careful when choosing to spend your money with them. I was originally planning on looking into additional legal action, but their TOS is pretty airtight in regard to the fact that everything is fully encased within their gamified platform until they physically ship an item. It's a real shame, while the odds aren't amazing, the price per open and the possible winnings would've had me hooked when compared to other options out there.

Hi Jeffrey, Thank you for updating your review. Following a detailed investigation, we identified multiple accounts linked to this case that were created and used to access promotional offers, contrary to our Terms of Service. Our decision was based on the overall pattern of account activity identified during that investigation, not solely on the timing of any individual account registration. As part of that review, the associated redemption was cancelled and all purchases made on the original account were refunded in full to the original payment method. While we appreciate that you disagree with our decision, it was reached following a thorough review of the available information and remains unchanged. GOATbox Trust & Safety
