Jorge from Ask a Local was very helpful and had a wealth of knowledge about Costa Rica. I learned so much from him and can't wait for my trip.

Simone's information and guidance was absolutely priceless! He helped us finalize our itinerary and then provided us with his local recommendations for activities, hotels, restaurants and scenic drives. Everything he recommended could not be found in any tour book and will make this so much more of an authentic and special experience.

This was my first time using "Go Ask a Local ", and if all the "locals" that are a part of this group are as good as Paolo, then I am going to be thrilled that I found this service. Paolo was outstanding. He was friendly and had a good sense of humour, he is very knowledgeable about his area of expertise, he was good with me recording our zoom session so I could refer back and right after our call, he sent me links to all the places we talked about, and links to interactive maps he has created. This info, even without the pleasure of a 1 hour zoom call with Paolo, was worth the fee. If you are going to be in Puglia, then I strongly suggest that you start your planning by spending an hour with Paolo on a Zoom call. It will be the best $125 you spent on your adventure.

Found the site online as I was researching to plan an upcoming trip to Puglia. Great info online. And although I am an experienced traveler and had devised my own itinerary on previous trips in France as well as Italy, Puglia seemed like it required a little more planning to avoid driving long distances and also because there is so much to see and do.I decided to schedule a consultation. Paolo was great, knowledgeable, helpful, and really nice. He had prepared by looking at the questionnaire and was able to give me advice and two itinerary options tailored to our interests and time. It was really worth it because he helped me make changes to the itinerary I had come up with. I think that alone probably saved us lots of time and driving. Of course, he also advised us on things we did not come across through researching online and provided helpful recommendations for hotels and restaurants. A really valuable resource. I will certainly be using it in the future.
