Go Ask A LocalReviews of goaskalocal.com

This was such a great help with finalizing my itinerary. He gave me great tips and special places to go. He listened well to what I like and had great recommendations on how long to stay at each stop. This was definitely worth it.

Leonor, consultant for Portugal 🇵🇹, is magnificent. She is such a sweet woman and she is so honest about places to visit that you know that she's planned for you something that you're really going to enjoy. The itinerary is specifically catered to you. She takes into account exactly what you want to see and what you want to do. She is specific and honest, so you don't feel like you're going to find out something that wasn't expected. She understands perfectly that making the most out of your visiting time is so important. Highly recommend her if you are wanting to visit Portugal.

I met with Dania to create an itinerary for an upcoming trip to Sicily and I am so glad that I did! Even though we had already done a lot of research on the area - things to see and do, etc., - I would never have found some of the hidden gems and interesting places that she recommended. Dania was extremely easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. We have a small group traveling with us and she was able to suggest things to do that would be interesting to each of us individually and also for our group as a whole. I was already excited about this trip and now I absolutely cannot wait to go! Thank you, Dania! It was a pleasure talking to you and I learned so much about the area that I would have otherwise missed.

Go Ask a Local is a great place to start when planning a trip. Dania is an amazing resource for travel to Italy! This is the second time I’ve relied on her expertise and insight to help me. She’s provides information that isn’t found through a Google search. She’s knowledgeable, but more than that, she truly cares about her client having the best experience possible in her beautiful country. Dania goes above and beyond what is expected. I highly recommend this service when planning your trip!

This is our 3rd trip where we have used Go Ask a Local. All of the guides have been excellent. They listen to what you want and make great recommendations. We will definitely use them again.

Maria is an excellent travel planning partner. She took a look at the itinerary I proposed and immediately saw that I had too much packed in! I'm doing a lot of the logistics myself, her guidance has already helped immensely. I highly recommend her - totally worth it! Gracias Maria!!

Alfonso had so many great ideas and recommendations. Day trips, museums and time in nature - balancing the cultural and historical with the beautiful places to see. I am even more excited now about my trip and feel that this consultation has allowed me the chance to have a much more meaningful and memorable experience in the Basque Country of Spain, rather than just doing the more obvious and touristy things. He also recommended hotels and restaurants and helped me to understand and navigate how to get around by train and bus. The kinds of things locals know but can be hard to find out from across the world just by researching it myself. This saved me hours and hours. I cannot wait to put my itinerary together and to go! Thank you so much, this was really invaluable.

Primoz with go ask a local was wonderful. He clearly understood what I was looking for. I needed help with the logistics of a 2 week itinerary involving SUP, hiking, site seeing, wine, nature, casual atmosphere, locals, the sea and a we bit of time in Ljubljana. And....I asked for recommendations for places to stay. Kinda a lot but he was all over it. Kind, courteous and very helpful.
