I am not a angry person. Any one can testify to that. But ProctorU has caused me to be an angry person. This is by far the worst thing I have been through in college. The proctor blamed me for not registering for the correct test on time because she couldn’t get it to work. And she sounded like she was at a bar! I literally told her I’m logging off good bye you are wasting my time. I literally feel like I was being pranked. And she asked me if I was in my house and if I could change rooms! No you don’t know anything about my living situation it is such a violation of privacy.

This is an awful program. You take a test one time with one browser and then next time they make you download a completely different browser. This one waste space on your computer and two is completely unnecessary. Add in the fact that their program glitches and exited out of my final 4 times and then they made me wait and waste time for them to reboot the program. I would never recommend this to anyone as it is more of a pain than anyone should have to deal with before taking a test. Add in all the bull you have to go through to even be able to take the test and overall the whole experience is awful.

If I could give 0 stars and leave a review I would. No one should have to use this EVER. Crashed in the middle of my exam and tried to say it was my connection when I never lost connection. Took me and hour to be reconnected to my exam. An hour that was taken from my exam time and ended in my having to retake my exam. Coupled with the fact that you have download extentions, zip files and allow a stranger full access to my computer I would not be sad to NEVER have to use or see this program again.

Any respectable school should be ashamed (ASHAMED) of having students test through this "company". I don't know what is worse-the fact that they got into my computer, changed settings, and installed a VERY questionable program in order for me to test, or the fact that their program crashed and told me I had to deal with figuring out how to get it rescheduled. I have never before so badly desired to rate something with as many negative stars as I could. Sadly, 1 star is the lowest I can go.

I had used them a few times without trouble, but I just had a terrible experience. It said "Patrick" had connected, but when the person came on, it was a woman with a heavy accent. She kept trying to log on to unlock the exam and was confused about why it wasn't accepting, Then when a password finally worked, she said it was because she had copied the wrong ones before. WHAT? Your password is copied and pasted? "Patrick"?? When I was finally in and had the test going, I could hear music, so I finally turned my computer's volume down and that stopped it. Annoying. I also noticed the internal fan running higher than it ever had before, which is terribly concerning! What did she do or install on my computer?? When I was finally done, I said so in the chat box. Instead of typing that I could log off and have a nice day the way proctors usually do, she got back on the mic and showed me how to open the survey and left the screenview and camera on while she waited for me to fill it out. "just put in the number, right there" - and her demeanor changed when I gave her a bad rating. I said I don't usually do the surveys, and she kept insisting I not do it this time either "just close this window, you should close this window." She wouldn't log off so I finally closed everything but the survey window and described what had just happened and how nervous it all made me. I don't know what she did to my computer and I didn't want anything saved if possible, so I made sure my grade went through, then did a hard shut-down of the whole thing. Now looking into whether scammers work there, I see they're notorious for employing really bad people. It's such a shame - I really enjoyed the proctors Ice had with them before, and didn't know about all the scandals with this company until now, because of this horribly unethical person. Did you know there was an enormous data breach going back almost a decade up to last year? Effing beautiful.

Every single time I get on there is an issue. Whether its the extension, connectivity (even though everything else works just fine) or it's thee god awful proctors. Some are great. The one I just had though.... Made me shut every single door in my room regardless of proximity to me. I showed him the desk i was working on which had some folded pants and computer router and the guy literally asked me to remove them from the table... relevance? none. Im also not putting clean clothes on a floor. So i moved to a new chair where he then had me show him the old chair? and after showing him my chair 3 times he said i had to take the test on a desk and I had to remind him that I was on a desk that I had to get off of. To which he told me to go to ANOTHER ROOM like sir there are 6 people in this house that isn't mine this is the only room. He asked me again to show him my chair. Worst use of resources. Takes your money. Any teacher recommending this site should be relieved of their job.

ProctorU, You destroy my whole career life, I had a exam today for a job and out of now where the proctor ended my session because she “assumed” I left my exam area which I did not and the whole process was recorded thank god !!!! I just lost my exam time and I’m gonna fail!!! This is mistake is unforgivable! I’m gonna contact with the company and notify them to STAY AWAY from your disaster company for future poor exam takers !!!!

After taking a very complex exam that caused an extensive amount of anxiety, the proctor felt that it was okay to continue the monitoring process once my scores were displayed. Not to mention that they stayed “monitoring” me at my most vulnerable state- when I sat and cried at my scores. They stayed monitoring me for at least 5 minutes after the test was completed and never ended the session until after I had to aggressively ask if it was necessary. Those scores should be CONFIDENTIAL not to mention should they have the right to find entertainment in watching my emotional reaction to what I had went through. They need more respect for the test takers and also should be informed of privacy rights. Completely unprofessional and unfortunately humiliating.
