Deleted files without consent and I failed because of them.
I had to use ProctorU for my algebra exam. My first proctor, Janine, connected to my computer and without any prior warning started closing out 100s of tabs I had saved for research for my job, and then closed out a document I had open, also without warning, and hit "Save" without my consent--this file was something that was saved on another computer, and she completely wrote over the file -- I lost about a months worth of work because of her. If she had given me any warning, I would've told her NOT to save the file. Secondly, Janine wouldn't let me use a blank pack of paper to write on, she said I needed to use a flat surface. This caused me to have to move to another room, and my laptop died in the process as I had just plugged it in. Then, Janine disconnected and my session ended before my exam even began. Then, I tried to reconnect but had technical issues: I spoke with 4 different technical support advisors, no one could solve my issue. I ended up only having about 40 minutes to take an exam I had 2 hours allotted for. I spoke with support for over an hour and a half. Their support staff seems to have very little knowledge or training on what to do or how to fix issues that should be common for them. Because of their little knowledge on technical issues, I didn't have enough time to finish my exam. I am scared to see the grade.
