My internet is fine my Proctor disconnected lost 1/4 of my exam time trying to get a second proctor most kept closing the chat on me. Second proctor never tried to help me get my time back she told me to go on and figure it out at the end. At the end when I asked for help repeatedly, she told me to close the tab. Sadly proctor U this is compulsory. Traumatic experience.

proctors are discriminatory based on appearances. The last test I took I was well dressed business casual, no question on my testing area, not 1 interruption. This time in my PJs, sitting in the exact same spot. I was prevented from starting my test for over an hour, I had to contact a manager to get them to let me start, because the room wasn't suitable all of the sudden. Then I was interrupted 5 times, for adjusting in my chair. All 4 of these people treated me like a delinquent. I am a 25 year old healthcare professional. II pay for better, I deserve better.

Horrendous experience. Did all the pre-test checks as suggested and all was fine even 5 minutes before the exam was due to start. I tried to download the file to start my exam but nothing came up on the screen. Got diverted to various different chat boxes and various technicians, often waiting 20-30 minutes in between contact on several occasions, yet they could not figure out the problem. Was told there was problem with either my computer or internet and to use another one, which I didn't have. I choose to take the test at home on the specific guidance not to use a work computer so naturally I didn't have 'spare' computers lying around! Never had a problem with either internet or computer before. Mutiple phone calls with my exam provider and proctorU and eventually I accessed the exam 3.5hrs! after my scheduled time. At that point, they had changed some laptop pre-settings so I could no longer access my larger desktop monitor and had to work off my small laptop screen which I purposefully set up in advance to avoid. Tried to contact ProctorU at the end of my exam and took 45mins to receive communication again. What was supposed to be a 4hr exam ended with me being on the system for over 8hrs. The following day had the same issue but this time 'only' took 1hr to fix. This system caused so much additional stress on an already stressful exam day, and potentially could have been avoided by implementing more extensive computer pre-checks, or downloading any necessary files, in advance. The system does not work and needs drastic reviewing. Do not recommend.

Awful during my GRE I guess she kept bumping the mouse because I wouldn’t be touching it and it would go flying across the screen. Don’t use !

Terrible system, worse support, even worse customer service. Passed all their pre-exam checks then on the day just sat their under "connecting". Never connected. Online support kept changing timing out and never did anything. Had to call up a US number to get support. Was just told "try a different laptop". Then could not get them to send me a report detailing the issues so I could get a re-take for the exam I've now missed. Could not get an email address to copy in the tech support to explain to my institution.

So I just wrote a review but I had to take another test with them, and man was this time way worse. My test was scheduled at 8, and I had everything open and ready for the proctor. She joins, does not say a word to me, and the proceeds to delete everything on my screen (after getting control of my screen). I thought it was kind of weird she was already starting without talking to me but whatever. She did the normal over the top check of everything on my laptop. We proceed to the viewing of my desk, which everything is off of it except for my laptop, laptop case, water, and coaster. I show underneath the desk, and the sides. My desk has open compartments, however I moved to the side without the compartments. She asked to view the side again, and then proceeded to tell me I would have to completely empty my desk or else I was violating the code and would be counted as a cheater. Um... what? I was never told I had to have a specific desk. I also was not going to empty out my desk full of my personal things. I fought her until she got her manager, who then told me the same thing, and frankly did not care that the open compartments were not even in my line of sight. If I wanted to grab something from out if it, it would be more than obvious. I ended up covering my desk with a blanket because it was either that or literally taking every single thing out even though not a single one had to do with my online test (all my materials were online also). I did not get to start my test until like 845 after begging them to let me take my test. I honestly was not going to cheat, I was just upset about how extreme and invasive they were being. This is all to say that ProctorU is an invasion of privacy and absolutely ridiculous. This company sucks. If the institution wants to control the student's environment so much, then they need to have the tests be strictly in person ONLY. No one is comfortable with showing a stranger (whom you never get to see) their room and personal belongings in order to take a test. That should not even be allowed, period. Why are we okay with this??? I really hope ProctorU gets taken down one day because what they do should in no way ever be allowed. Not only do they check your room (way too extensively if I might add) but they require control of your laptop, for a reason I am unaware of. If settings need to be changed, the student can do it while the proctor guides them. It is unnecessary to give a stranger full access to my laptop and information. Not one single proctor is understanding, helpful, practical, or kind. Do better because this is ridiculous.

Passed all the set up requirements on my husband's desktop. Proctoru employee said it was not compatible with windows11 after we downloaded Chrome that they recommended and now the computer is shot bc of their software. Boerowed a lap top and 1.5 hours after the exam was supposed to start, I was kicked off and exam gone. Mind you this is after they took over the lap top, and questioned me about my husband's flight equipment simulator. They now have my address and know what is in my house. To top that, the borrowed lap top is now not working correctly either bc proctoru did something. I have to now pay for that. Trash trash trash. They cannot understand English either.

Was attempting to write the NRCan Foundation Level Exam. After connecting/disconnecting numerous times over 1.5 hrs, I finally got through to someone. They went through the verification process and as I was about to write they said they couldn’t process it due to it being expired. It was a total of 3 hours spent trying to write an exam. I will be attempting to write in person now
