Ghostwriting MentorsReviews of ghostwritingmentors.com

Absolutely disgusting experience..fraud company..money suckers.. After all drop you as you never exist. How many stars...th e y dont deserves anything...just shut them as suspicious non professional fraud.

Unfortunately, I finally reached the point where I felt I had no choice but to contact my local police department and file a complaint regarding my $1,000 refund that I still have not received. At this point, it is about much more than the money. What has been most disturbing to me is the repeated misinformation and the way this situation has been handled. The police officer personally called Ghost Writing Mentors regarding my complaint. According to what occurred during that call, customer support told the officer they were not from the billing department. When the officer asked for the billing department’s phone number, they responded that he “must already know that” and then hung up on the police officer. Yes — they actually hung up on a law-enforcement officer who was calling regarding a customer complaint. I am honestly stunned by the way this entire situation has unfolded. As a customer simply trying to recover $1,000 that I believe I am owed, I never imagined I would have to involve the police just to address a refund issue. I am sharing this update so that anyone considering doing business with this company can be aware of my experience and make an informed decision for themselves. I strongly encourage people to document every conversation, email, payment, and promise made to them. This experience has gone far beyond poor customer service. The lack of professionalism and the apparent disregard shown even during a call from law enforcement has been extremely concerning.

You actually get a 0 in my opinion. If you had just taken my money and ended the lie by not calling to scam further, that would have been enough. You make these stupid Quarterly phone calls to me as though you will catch me off guard. You're liars and scammers and the OIC will be notified this time.

Ghostwriting Mentors took my money (thousands of dollars in 2024 and 2025), Calvin talks to me like I am a dog with no respect because I am a black woman, and Ryan won't call me back. They did a website and video trailer. After a year trying to get it published, I found another publishing company who wants to add a QR code to my book and Website and Ghostwriting mentors is holding my work hostage although I paid for everything in full. I have not asked for my money back (they probably won't give it back to me anyway), I just want the services done that I have already paid for. If whoever reads this can help me to move forward with publishing my book, please contact me at 214-600-6609. I have been trying to get it published for more than 2 years. Help!!

I went into the publishing world as a complete rookie, and Ghostwriting Mentors held my hand throughout the entire process. They made sure everything was smooth. Erica jones made sure I never felt lost.

Terrible company. I was constantly pressured to buy additional products. They missed several phone meetings. They would say we needed to go over the book for two hours, then, after I blocked my schedule, they would make it a five-minute call, postponing the part of the project at hand. The writing (I had to change writers three times) was good, but the writer did not listen to me. He would not make the necessary corrections, even after multiple requests, and he forgot to include stories. The manuscript provided to me was not in chapter order, and most stories need to be rewritten. After waiting several times for them to improve their service, I finally had to discontinue working with them and request a refund because I was not satisfied with their services. WARNING: They do not honor the money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied. They do not return calls. Overall a horrible experience. I have now reported them to the Better Business Bureau, and am going through my credit card company to get my refund. Next I have to take them to court, to which they responded, "We have lots of Attorneys." There are far better firms to work with. Do not be fooled by their price; they will charge many thousands of dollars more.

I am still waiting for my refund from these despicable individuals! My bank is on it and the last bank representative with whom I spoke assures me I will get it. My extensive emails and texts I gathered as evidence for the bank says to me that they are not very good at scamming. I came to the conclusion that at least some of them d are just downright business stupid. I find it interesting that every writer I encountered had names like Jeffery, Leo, Moses, Sarah, and Mary (the biggest liar) ;and I believe all or all but 1 had accents like people for whom English was not their first language.

The intial cost for writing and editing my book was $1285 dollars. The came the upsells with high pressure each month in addition. To gain an understanding of the marketing contract, the cost is $ 5,000. The problem is that they only accomplished three of the 21 guaranteed actions. Ultimately, it took a year to publish my book, and the final cost was over $23,000 with all the add-ons. Even that may have been acceptable if they had followed through on the guarantee to make the book a bestseller. Their final offer for promoting my book was $135,000, yes, thousand, to market it around the world, along with Barnes & Noble. Please research; there are many publishers with more reasonable costs. As well as coming with better credentials.
