I have asked many times for the driver to place the can where he got it from. (Not from the sidewalk.) Instead he is so incompetent that having basic decency for people he keeps on putting the can in the sidewalk. There are people in wheelchairs that he is blocking. I will not longer have this shitty service.

They don't pick up your trash even though you pay property taxes and say it will be 400 dollars to pick it up.

At a busy crosswalk at sawes rd and Victoria park ave to watch a gfl driver that appeared to be if indian decent didnt even look anywhere but his phone. This needs to be stopped and they make it almost impossible to leave feedback

I have had srevice with GFL for a few years. They repeatedly miss pickup and I have to wait another week for the previous week pickup. They raise prices without even telling me. Break the trash can lid repeatedly and have to wait several Weeks to have replaced. I’m so done. When I called to cancel they ask if I had a way to get trash can back to them and if not they will charge me 35$ to pick up. This is the worst reputation company I have had the experience of working with. So glad they are out of my life.

They are doing construction during rush our. Costing me $300 & 40 hours a month. Your day should start at 8am and end at 4:30pm.

I canceled my residential trash service with GFL in June 2026, but their containers remained at my home for weeks and were only picked up after multiple requests. My May 15 statement showed a $125.97 credit balance, and I am still waiting for my refund, confirmation that my account was properly closed, and a final zero-balance statement.

I am very disappointed with the service we received. The collection crew dropped cardboard on our property and left it behind. More concerning, when my elderly father attempted to address the issue, he was spoken to in a rude and disrespectful manner. We expect collection staff to treat residents courteously and professionally. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed and addressed.
