This is the best pet adoption site I have used. I have adopted two dogs from get your pet in the last year and my daughter has also adopted two dogs from get your pet in the last year. I love it because I can ask the owner everything I want to know about the pet. I think it's great that someone in need of finding a home for a pet can be connected right away with someone that would like to adopt a pet. And our babies do not have to be in cages in an unfamiliar place.

After having a terrible experience trying to adopt from multiple local rescues, we found a pup on GetYourPet.com. We exchanged many emails and photos over the course of a Saturday morning and picked up our new dog that same afternoon. It was a perfect match--both the owner and I were thrilled to give Chip a new home. I totally understand the need for animal rescues to investigate possible adopters, but the time, energy and money involved was mind-boggling. GetYourPet.com is the way to go!

Get Your Pet is a wonderful idea! It allows people who want pets to see pictures online of dogs who need a new home, without having to involve pounds or shelters. The animals avoid the trauma of being in those places, and instead go from one loving home to the next. I love my sweet dog, Sammy, I found through Get Your Pet. I'm thankful I happened to find Get Your Pet and take advantage of its wonderful service!
