The website motivations are very timely and informative. The Dashboard is a great idea for communicating with the guardian and strong up meet ups We keep in touch with Lacey’s former guardian with pictures and text exchanges. Our experience was great using TGYP service. The adoption service was quick and easy Would highly recommend.

We drove almost two hours, just to have the individual claim it already had a new home for the dog, blocked us, and we had no idea if they meant us or not. As such, we waited another hour in the cold, and went back home. This was on a school night no less. We did end up getting a second choice from another owner which we're very happy with, hence the only reason for the 3 stars.

Hi Adorian, Thanks so much for your feedback. We do have reminders to both Guardians and Adopters leading up to the day of a meet-up, specifically to remind people so that if their plans have changed then they can cancel. We wish that first Guardian had responded to our prompts. Unfortunately, in the end, we're not able to control users, in the same way that Match.com can't control people on their dates. Looking fot a while and was getting frustrated, checked one night , new post was first responder & got lucky. We did rename her MAGGIE and she is awesome.

We met Max and his owner in a park to decide if we wanted to take him. It was a comfortable environment and we asked questions about his history. We decided to take him home with us. He met our 2 dogs and 2 cats and did quite well. We immediately started training him and he has become a well loved member of our family. This process is a lot easier than with most rescue groups, but there is also no way to ensure that the person taking your pet will treat them with love and kindness. Be careful who you hand off your dear animal to!

We adopted two dogs and had a great experience. Our only complaint was that it took toooooooo long for the owners to get back to us. Hence why we ended up with 2 dogs. Otherwise, it was a great resource!!!

We found the process simple and found a wonderful dog who fit in with our family. The previous owners were honest and clearly loved the dog, but found their home was not an ideal situation. We are so happy with get your pet for providing the opportunity to rescue a pet without it needing to make a stop at the humane society along the way.
