I was able to meet Duke first and find out everything about him spend some time with him before taking him home . That was so important to me and I was able to bring my kids and other pets with me to meet him too on a neutral place . I loved the fact I was able to meet his previous owners too. This is an easier way to adopt a pet without the pet having to go to a shelter .

I adopted two cats and I love them so much. The previous owners where able to tell me their moods, like and dislikes also it was very inexpensive. I suggest this website to all my friends.

We had an excellent experience, and would recommend Get Your Pet very highly. After reviewing other options on line, we were lucky enough to find Max. He is the joy of our life, and loves our kids, grandkids, and friends . The process was very efficient, it allowed us to have a personal relationship with Max's owner, which we still have. We share photos and updates with him regularly, and I know this makes the necessary adoption, a little easier for him.

After losing my furbaby Daisy to lymphoma I was beyond devastated needless to say as she was more one of my kids/family member than a "pet". I was certain I would not be able to ever go through that pain again, so I had made up my mind not to even look for another dog. After about 3 weeks I was again certain that the void in our lives (especially mine) had to be filled with what we were all missing a furbaby family member. I came across "Get Your Pet" and joined just to look from the convenience of home... After finding Mila close to 2 hrs away from home I knew immediately that she was going to be the one for myself and my family. Not to mention it enabled me to again "rescue" another one of these amazing breeds. As my Daisy (American Stafford Shire Terrier) was a rescue which I had never done and I had never before owned a pitbull previous to her. She was THE BEST DOG imaginable and my "opinion" of the breed changed immediately and now it would take some serious persuading to ever make me want any other breed as a furbaby. I messaged with Milas current owner and agreed to meet (in her home as to not add any extra pressure on Mila or change her demeanor at all). I drove the almost 2 hours and the second she looked through the glass of their front door I knew she was meant for myself and my family. There were no awkward moments in the entire process. It is great that no discussion of or exchanging of money had to take place directly between Milas previous mom and myself. Not to mention it is as simple as scrolling as you would your normal social media,messaging back and forth privately and agreeing to meet. Simple as that! We have been able to stay in contact after the adoption which is incredibly awesome for both parties. I get to send pics,updates,and just boast like the proud Pitty mom that I am and her previous mom gets to know and see her progress and how perfectly she fits with her new furever family... I reccomend this site to anyone and everyone that I know. Not to mention all of the great things they offer after the adoption... Get Your Pet is an easy,convenient, hassle free (in my opinion)experience and makes finding furever homes for so many animals and owners in need that much easier... best &honest place I have gone thu. So glad I did, she is the little dog I needed in my life. I had to put my lab down she was16. I had gone in to a deep depression. This dog I have now saved my live. Thank you.

Everything was perfect easy to navigate the website my only thing that was negative to me was I never received any papers such as license any vaccines on file I was told I would have to go to the Carson pound to maybe retrieve records that's the main part of using this website you don't have to deal with the pound and from my understanding everything including the papers for my cat should have came with the $49 service charge other than that I would have given them a 5-star rating

There were a lot of pets listed where the caretakers never responded to requests for meet-ups. Absolutely no response. I was beginning to think the site was a joke. However, we finally received a response and it turned out to be a good one. We adopted a new baby and have been very happy. Its nice to understand in advance any quirks an animal might have you're considering adopting. Our contact was very straightforward and honest about our new adoptee's little hang-ups. As I said, we are very happy with the new edition to our family!
