I was having a hard time adopting a pet during the pandemic. Shelter visits were limited and appointments were backed up for weeks. We filled out several applications for rescue dogs but were too late because they went to other homes. I searched online and found Get Your Pet. I’m am so grateful that this site exist. It was an easy process and I was able to meet with two fur babies. We decided to go with Gracie and were not disappointed. I would highly recommend them to others looking for their furever pet.

I adopted my dog, Jo through get your pet in July 2018. Seriously can't believe it has been less than 2 years! It feels like we have had her forever. When we started looking for a dog, it was real stressful. I didn't want a puppy but I worried about finding a dog who would be ok with our cats and chickens. Being able to communicate with the current owner was so helpful. Everything went so smoothly- from the initial inquiry to the meetup to the paperwork and free vet check. It was such a great way to add to our family. I love that Jo was kept out of the shelter and some of my adoption fee goes to the shelter. I seriously could not recomend them higher!

We adopted Smokey on the 3rd and she has been an absolute blessing for us. She was raised well. She's so obedient & smart, an excellent addition. Thank you Deborah & Get your Pet.com for this amazing Angel with 4 paws & fur. ❤🐾🐾

Performance was as promised. I would have liked an adoption certificate but the documentation they provided was adequate. They were very responsive.

GetYourPet.com was absolutely wonderful for our family. Our beloved dogdied about a year ago, and we had been looking for a new furry family member. We tried another website but didn’t even get responses from the shelters we reached out to. Then we found Get Your Pet, and we were able to review the pets available, communicate directly with the owners without giving personal info (besides our name) and ask them any questions we wanted to. We found our awesome new dog, Tyson, and he is a delight to our family. We appreciated the “meet-up” part of this service, because we got to agree with the owners on a place to meet and see how Tyson reacted to us, and both sides were free to decide is it was a good match. We can tell Tyson was deeply loved and well cared for prior to coming to us. (His sweet owners even cried while saying goodbye.) We have chosen (outside the program) to keep in touch and send them updates and photos. I love this about Get Your Pet... you are not taking a chance on a pet that you have no real history for. And still, you are keeping an animal out of a shelter. I would recommend Get Your Pet to anyone looking for a new furry friend!

I would highly recommend getyourpet.com as a resource to place your furry family member in a loving home. This was my first time on the site. I located the site by googling , find my pet a home. The sign-up was easy and the site is user friendly. Once I added my profile, I had an interested party within 30 minutes and the hits continued. I was able to place our Goodlendoodle with a new family within 6 days of my posting. The communication process with the potential adoptees was seamless from start to finish. I was able to get a good feel and insight about each adoptee and I'm overjoyed at the adoptee family we selected. Thank you for creating this much needed service. Tonya
