Not sure what is going on with this company. I am existing customer. Very satisfied with initial experience with my MacBook Air m3. Currently company for some unknown reason has freeze on additional orders with their computer supplier. Not getting any responses to my email inquiries. At this point wanting to get information for leaving this program after obligations are met.

I had order an iPad pro M5 and it show the delivery date after few days. I end up getting after my travel vacation which was 3-4 weeks after placing an order. But since I got too late would like to return as I found out this is too big iPad and just being 14 days since It got delivered. But Upgraded policy very strict that made me no choice to keep the product. This is my first and last time buying product from here as I learned my lesson. I do recommend other not to purchase from here or you will lose the money from the time you open the box. Fact that I waited almost month to get my iPad delivery they denied to take my return as I felt it doesn't fit my need.

A very shit ass experience with affirm. Just going to scam and screw you with interest right after you make your final payment. They’ll be like oops looks like you owe us $4k more on top of the $2,200 you already paid.

Hi Aaron, I don't see you as a customer. That's not how Affirm works. They don't just add interest or additional fees. They actually don't even have any late fees. They will send someone who hasn't paid after 90 days to collections, but they don't charge fees -- it's actually pretty impressive of them. Another thing to note is that not everyone who applies will get 0% APR. Most of our customer do have 0%, but certainly not all. Your 1-star review really sucks for us. We don't make the credit decision. And it looks like you didn't end up buying anything. If you had a bad experience with us directly -- if we messaged up somewhere -- then I would welcome your feedback... but what you are saying about not liking Affirm here doesn't apply to Upgraded. Appreciate you giving us a shot. We're 6 people trying to build a new company. Please consider removing your review!

I didn't get the computer I ordered but a headset instead. Customer service responded quickly. Let's see how quickly this is resolved. I will change the rating accordingly.

Thanks Thessy. And apologies for the headset delivery -- so strange. I think we got you all fixed up via chat an email.

I was excited to order a MacBook after seeing the 0% APR financing promoted on the website. But when I went to check out through Affirm, I was offered a shocking 32% APR instead. Nowhere on the product page did it mention this was based on credit or subject to change. This is false advertising and completely misleading. Be honest with your customers — don’t bait them with unrealistic offers.
Response from UpgradedJun 12, 2025
Hi Sanjay, Thanks for your review. We want to address your concerns directly and clearly. First and foremost: Upgraded does not promise 0% APR to all customers. Our site and ads state “as low as 0% APR” or equivalent text, and this phrasing is legally compliant and accurate. We also include required disclosures — including that rates may go up to 36% — on every page where financing is mentioned. We have built partnerships with Affirm, Apple and others because of our commitment to clarity. You can also see the prevailing positive reviews here on TrustPilot. We understand it’s frustrating to see a higher rate than expected, but the APR is determined entirely by Affirm, based on your credit profile. We don’t control or influence their decision process, and we don’t benefit from customers receiving a higher rate — in fact it’s entirely negative for us because high interest rates mean fewer buyers. You’re right that clarity matters — and we’re actively improving how this is communicated. But calling this false advertising or bait-and-switch is not accurate. We do not advertise “0% guaranteed” and never have. If you saw a page that states otherwise, please share it — we’ll fix it immediately. We stand by our commitment to honesty and clarity, and we’ll continue improving.

They advertise express shipping but it's anything but. Package came ground and UPS as usual was late. It took as long from China to the US as it did once it arrived in the US

Hey Sean, I’m seriously so sorry about this crazy random delay. If we look at your tracking number, it's not actually UPS, it's a delay on the shipment of your custom build from Apple's factory in China. Will send you an email. - this is john the CEO. I’m the one replying to all of these.
