Trying to close account and get my money back. It won't let me get it back.

It seems the game is rigged for those who pour money into it. Again money for the rich. If you had tiered levels of payouts maybe that would help. So lower paid people can feel they have a chance to win. I think I read your last payout and it said if you put in $5000 you had the best chance to win. It would take a year to save that to have a chance to win. So if you had under $50 a week under 100 then 500 then $5000 weekly that might fare better. But I know it’s a business so you do what you need to. And don’t let $5000 a week be automatically entered in the lower brackets. They are higher stakes let them win higher. But also let the $20 still have an astronomically low chance to win the big prizes My .02

Dont see the value. Originally when there was winning it felt good, but after that several weeks of "good luck next time". It didn't felt worth it. With a deposit financial product I expect stability and not too much gamble. The business model probably needs expansion if the intent for company is to grow profitable.

Hi Pranshu, Thanks for the feedback! We rolled out a monthly savings bonus, so regardless if a user wins or loses, they'll receive this monthly bonus. We're also rolling out some really cool features in the upcoming months. We appreciate you being a user and saving with us as we work towards our mission of incentivizing Americans to build a better financial foundation! The idea is good but I never look at it and the relationship to the bank is weird - I never hear from the bank or prize pool about my savings. It is also annoying to have to shake to see if I won anything and then only get 0.10. I would not recommend the app to anyone else. There are better ways to get rewarded for saving.

Hi There, Thanks for being a user! We push out notifications and emails regularly. Please let us know if you're not receiving these! For shaking, you can always skip (at the bottom). Some users enjoy shaking, but we realize it's not for everybody and give the option to skip it. In regards to relationship, many well-known fin-techs operate the same way; we'd love to answer outstanding questions or comments you may have, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Whole app is very basic and unintuitive and to be quite honest this is probably a Ponzi scheme.

Hi There, Funds are held in an FDIC-insured account and there is no purchase required. Please reach out to us for any other comments you may have or if we can clarify more at [email protected]!

PrizePool is a deceptively marketed service that promotes a higher APY than a traditional savings account. It doesn't mention your initial deposit is spent to enter the lottery, yet they include your initial deposit in the APY. How in the world PrizePool's marketing is compliant is beyond me.
Response from PrizePoolMay 26, 2021
Hi Benjamin, Thanks for taking the time to write a review! We'd like to understand more of what you mean by "initial deposit is spent to enter the lottery". There is no purchase necessary or "spent" and ticket balance as well has APY is calculated based on available account balance. We'd love to clarify or hear more, please reach out to us at [email protected].
