This is a neat alternative to regular savings accounts. I'm just disappointed that I didn't find out about it sooner.

I signed up for prizepool a couple of months ago and my experience has been positive. It is a fun and exciting way to save money and earn dividends on your investment. All transactions have been smooth, no problems. Have earned more dividends in the last couple of months compared to bank dividends from all of last year.

the app is really easy to use and helps you keep track of your winnings and it beats having money in a checking/savings account while giving the same deposit protections

I've been using PrizePool for over 6 months now, and it's great to see the continuous improvements that keep making the app better. It's fundamentally a lottery savings account where you have the chance to win a prize, but at the same time earn an APR better than most mainstream banks - all still FDIC insured. My current realized APR is over 40%! There is no reason to use a regular savings account over PrizePool for cash that you are not planning on using in the short term, but don't want to lock up at a brokerage.

Great App! Even though I don't win every drawing, I still win often enough to keep me engaged. The interest that I earn outweighs anything from my bank. Not as profitable as the market but a much safer investment.
