I received the first part of my system from my homeowners insurance company. If they provide the system, it must work great, right? Wrong. After buying a whole lot more sensors to do the whole house, I end up with sometimes hundreds of false door openings and closings in a day or night. Re-syncing the devices doesn’t help and complaints get you one email to help and no response if you respond to their email. There is no siren available that I can find, although I have asked about it in two emails to two different customer service reps. This system is good to give the police an estimated time of death if you get killed by an intruder, but won’t give you an opportunity to wake up and defend yourself. Not what I wanted in home security.

Notifications are often wrong. It will say that the door is open and it's not. Having to resynchronize sometimes 2-4 times a day.

The system appears to work well in most cases, However one night last week it awakened me 3 times with false alerts that the door from my Sunroom to the side yard had opened! This prompted me to come downstairs with a loaded 45cal automatic and a 8500 lumen flashlight! I was immediately suspect when none of the motion detecting floodlights had come on. The door was still locked with the deadbolt, so no intrusion had occurred!

My family had significant flooding in our basement from a major rainstorm in August. The Notion sensors alerted us immediately and we were able to minimize the damage quickly. Thanks Notion!

I use the Notion system for so many things. The hub is over our hallway and if the light is green, that means our WiFi is up and running but if it turns blue, we know it’s down. Additionally, the fire alarm sensor alerts me when my toddler screams which I find hilarious, and working just as accurately during a real fire alarm. The other 2 sensors are placed for water leak detection and I do feel a peace of mind having them there, especially being as one location had a leak previous to finding Notion.

We have an attic space that we need to pay attention to the temperature. Notion is great because it helps us monitor the temp in an easy fashion with the app as well as the temp alert / notification on your phone. Plus we were able to put it next to the smoke alarm.

Great customer service! I emailed because I had issues with a couple of my sensors. The issue was quickly taken care of. As for the Notion system, what a great concept for monitoring your home for things that the common alarm system company can’t!

Notion not only gives me confidence that I have all the areas with sensors covered, it notifies me of any issues with the sensors/network and the support from Notion is wonderful if I have any questions. Notion has already saved me from several water leak issues that would have been very costly.
