Great concept but needs work to make it reliable
Great concept but needs work to make it reliable (imagine a sensor on a safe door that occasionally mistakenly tells you the safe has been opened for no apparent reason). A disappointing approach to customer loyalty with newer products not being compatible with older ones which means you have to install two parallel systems or stick with old technology.

Hi Marianne, Darren here at Notion Support! Thanks for your comments! Our team is constantly working on updates and improvements to Notion and your feedback helps to inform our roadmap and the features that we can make available in the future! The vertically hinged false positives has been the product team's primary focus for the last little while, so we have updates coming down the pipeline that will improve the accuracy of the sensors. Our second generation system, while it may not be compatible with 3rd generation, is functionally the same and there is no need to upgrade to third generation if they're happy with their second generation system. Just as a reminder, we are always available to support your system in any way we can so please let us know if you you would like further assistance troubleshooting! Take Care!
