After 20 years of working as a legal assistant in a solo practitioner law firm, the attorney I worked with decided to close his practice to join a larger firm. I found myself in the unfortunate position of needing to find a job at the age of 65, but I didn't have a current resume. I thought I'd be retiring from the law firm, so I hadn't had any need to keep my resume current.
