We’re truly heartbroken to hear about the loss of your beloved Rocky. Please accept our deepest condolences—no words can ease the pain of losing a furry family member, and we are so sorry you're going through this.
Our pendant is designed as a preventative solution. It helps to repel fleas, ticks, and other pests by creating a natural barrier using essential oils. However, it is not intended to kill any parasites that are already present on your pet. For active infestations, we strongly recommend using a solution recommended by your vet.
Our hearts are with you.

Not enough for Minnesota ticks
The collar smells nice and the color is great. However, we just picked the third stuck tick off of our mini Schnauzer. We have also found several not stuck. Anyone who has a Schnauzer knows their hair is thick and ticks are hard to find. Our guy suffers tremors with most tick meds, so we thought we'd try again. We will not purchase again. I was so hopeful!
Response from FurLife™Jun 14, 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience with us—we’re really sorry to hear that the collar didn’t meet your expectations, especially after you were hopeful it could be a gentle alternative for your Schnauzer.
We completely understand your concern, particularly since your pup has sensitivities to traditional tick medications. Our collars are made with natural ingredients and designed to be a milder, preventative option, which is why they can sometimes take a little longer to reach full effectiveness—especially in areas with high tick exposure or thicker coats like your Schnauzer’s.
In cases where ticks are already present, we often recommend pairing the collar with a fast-acting treatment initially to help manage active pests. This is not about pushing more products, but rather ensuring your dog gets the most effective protection from the start.
That said, we never want a customer to feel let down. Please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can assist you with a refund under our satisfaction guarantee—we’d love the chance to make this right.
Thank you again for giving us a try, and we wish your pup all the best.

Disappointing Product & Frustrating Refund Process
I purchased the tag from Furlife with high hopes of protecting my dog, especially given their advertised "30-day money-back guarantee for a 100% refund." Unfortunately, this product has been entirely ineffective. Since starting to use it, I have found three ticks on my dog, which is incredibly concerning and proves that the product simply isn't doing its job.
To make matters worse, attempting to get a refund has been an uphill battle. When I contacted Furlife regarding the product's failure, I spoke with Joan, who informed me that I would only be eligible for a 40% refund. This directly contradicts the 100% money-back guarantee prominently displayed on their website. It's incredibly frustrating to be met with such a discrepancy, especially after investing in a product that failed to deliver on its promise.
I am very disappointed with both the product's performance and the company's handling of the refund policy. I would caution others to be wary of their money-back guarantee.
Response from FurLife™Jun 14, 2025
Thank you for your detailed feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience. We completely understand your frustration—both with the product not meeting your expectations and with the confusion around our refund process.
To clarify, we absolutely stand by our 30-day 100% money-back guarantee. The initial offer of a 40% refund is something we present only as a hassle-free option—intended for customers who may prefer to keep the product and still receive partial compensation. It is entirely optional and can be declined at any time. If a full refund is preferred within the guarantee window, we are always happy to honor that, no product return required.
We apologize if this was not communicated clearly during your interaction with our team—that’s on us, and we’re actively working to ensure that all customer service communications align with our policies.
We're also sorry that the tag didn’t work as intended for your dog. While our products are made with natural ingredients and aim to provide a gentler form of protection, we recognize that they may not be the right fit for every dog or every environment, especially where there’s high tick activity.
If your refund hasn’t already been resolved to your satisfaction, please contact us directly again at [email protected], and we’ll make sure this is handled promptly and properly.
Thank you again for your honest feedback—it helps us improve, and we truly regret that your experience didn’t reflect the high standard we aim to uphold.

If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would. I have 10 dogs and purchased 5 to try out to begin with. I used them on my dogs that go in and out of my home first. I have a dog that has seizures and when I put her collar on, she had a seizure. I took it off and let it air out since the scent was so strong. I put it back on her a few days later, no seizure. At first I thought the collars were working but after a few weeks of wearing it non stop, they kept scratching. I checked them and there were tons of fleas the dogs that were wearing them.
I emailed asking for a refund but was informed that the 30 days was up and they will not be refunding my purchase. They told me the collars would not kill fleas and ticks, just prevent them???? Also, they sent me a link for some flea spray to use. Oh well, lesson learned. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Don’t waste your money on this product. They’re cute collars but don’t work. Not to mention, they’re quite expensive.
Response from FurLife™Jun 14, 2025
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about the issues you encountered, and we appreciate your feedback—especially given the trust you placed in us to protect your ten dogs.
First and foremost, we’re relieved to hear your dog is okay after the seizure. Our collars are made with natural ingredients, including essential oils, which are generally well-tolerated—but we recognize that some dogs, especially those with pre-existing conditions, may be more sensitive. In these cases, we always recommend airing the collar out before use, just as you did, and we appreciate your careful approach.
As for the effectiveness of the collars, they are indeed designed as a preventative tool, not a treatment for active infestations. This is why our team suggested pairing them with a natural spray—to help address any existing fleas while the collar works to prevent new ones. Our intention wasn’t to upsell, but rather to provide a solution that would offer your dogs the most relief.
Regarding the refund, we’re truly sorry that you reached out just past the 30-day window. While we do have to follow our policy guidelines, we understand how frustrating that can feel—especially when you're managing a large pack and dealing with health concerns.
That said, we’d still love the opportunity to make things right. Please reach out to us again at [email protected] with your order details, and we’ll do everything we can to find a resolution that feels fair to you.
We truly value your feedback, and we’re sorry that your experience didn’t reflect the standard we strive for.

Misleading Refund Policy & Ineffective…
Misleading Refund Policy & Ineffective Product**
I purchased a flea collar from Fur Life after contacting their customer support to ensure I wouldn’t waste my money if it didn’t work. They assured me of a full refund if the product was ineffective. Well, the collar didn’t work at all—but now the company is dragging its feet on issuing the refund they promised.
If a company guarantees results or refunds, they should stand by their word. Instead, Fur Life appears to rely on assurances to secure purchases while making it difficult for customers to actually claim their refund. Buyers beware: this is NOT a hassle-free guarantee. They do not work, don’t waste your money!
Response from FurLife™Jun 14, 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we're truly sorry to hear about the frustration and disappointment you've encountered.
We want to sincerely apologize if your interaction with our team left you feeling misled or unsupported. Our 30-day money-back guarantee is something we stand behind fully, and we're very sorry if there were any delays or confusion during your refund process. That’s not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we understand how upsetting it can be when expectations—especially ones tied to a guarantee—aren’t met.
To clarify, we do sometimes offer a partial refund option first as a way to make the process quicker and easier, especially if you prefer not to return the product. However, this is completely optional. If a customer requests the full refund within the guarantee period, we always honor that—no questions, no return required.
We're also sorry the collar didn't work for your dog. Our collars are made with 100% natural ingredients and are intended for preventative use, but we understand they may not be the right fit for every situation, especially if there's an active flea issue.
Please reach out again to [email protected] with your order details so we can promptly resolve this for you. We appreciate your feedback and the chance to make things right.

Disappointed for tick prevention
Was very excited to find something other than a chemical! Found four ticks attached to my dog and the fur life is only one month old! Very disappointed but don't want to go back to dangerous chemicals!
Response from FurLife™Jun 14, 2025
Thank you for your feedback, and we completely understand your disappointment—especially after making the intentional choice to avoid chemical-based treatments.
Our collars are made with 100% natural ingredients, specifically designed for preventative protection. However, in environments with heavy tick activity or if there’s already an active infestation, it’s possible for ticks to still appear, particularly in the early weeks. In some cases, pairing the collar with a natural spray during the initial period can help enhance effectiveness without resorting to harsh chemicals.
We know how frustrating it can be to still find ticks after trying to make a safer choice for your pet, and we truly appreciate your effort to find a healthier alternative. If you're within our 30-day guarantee, we’d be happy to arrange a full refund—no return required. Just reach out to us at [email protected] with your order information.
Thank you again for giving us a try. We hope to have the opportunity to better support you and your dog moving forward.

I got these collars for my 3 heelers in…
I got these collars for my 3 heelers in grey. I'v had them on them for a week. I'm not gonna say they don't work but in 2 days I've pulled 3 ticks off them right by the collar. 2 on one dog and 1 on the other. Which shocked me because they are supposed to keep them off. Now in the collars defense 1 did not move when I pulled it off and the other was barely moving one dog. But the one I pulled off the other dog was alive and juicy.
I would not recommend these because all three still have flees..
Response from FurLife™Jun 14, 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience—we really appreciate the honest feedback and the chance to address your concerns.
We're sorry to hear that you're still finding ticks and fleas after a week of use. Our collars are made with natural ingredients and are designed for preventative protection, but they may not be strong enough on their own to combat an existing infestation. This is especially true in outdoor or high-exposure environments, or with breeds like heelers that are very active and often outdoors.
In some cases, ticks may come into contact with the collar area and still latch briefly before the active ingredients take effect. It's encouraging that two of the ticks were already dying or inactive, as that shows the collar was beginning to work, but we understand it’s concerning to still find live pests.
As for the fleas, if they were already present, we typically recommend pairing the collar with a natural flea spray for the first few weeks to help clear out the existing infestation while the collar builds up full effectiveness.
We never want you to feel like you’ve wasted your money. If you're within our 30-day money-back guarantee, we're happy to provide a full refund—no return necessary. Please reach out to [email protected] with your order info, and we’ll take care of it.
Thank you again for giving us a try, and we hope your pups find fast relief soon.

Clearly doesn't work
I bought the flea and tick collar. I gave it a 1 month try and it clearly doesn't work. Luckily my dog is white with short hair and I can see the ticks. She has them every day. I am very disappointed 😞
Response from FurLife™Jun 7, 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we're truly sorry to hear that our flea and tick collar didn’t meet your expectations.
We completely understand how upsetting it must be to see your dog still struggling with ticks despite using our product—especially after giving it a full month’s trial. Our collars are designed to offer reliable protection using 100% natural ingredients, but we also recognize that effectiveness can vary depending on your dog’s environment, activity level, and even individual sensitivity to the ingredients.
Since your dog has light, short hair, we appreciate you noting that it’s easier to observe the issue—this kind of feedback helps us continue improving our products.
While this collar may not have worked for your dog, we never want you to feel disappointed or let down. As part of our commitment to customer satisfaction, we’ve issued a full refund for your order—no return necessary.
We genuinely appreciate you giving our product a try, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future. If you have any questions or would like help exploring alternative solutions that may better suit your dog’s needs, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Wishing you and your pup all the best.
