Despite saying that most people will be covered by health insurance, I was still billed $150 per hour. I was not notified of the cost until after two consultations. What a waste. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I do not recommend this service.

I would not even give this company one star. I had been working with them since April 2024 without issue. My nutritionist was great. Last week (June 2024) I got a text and email stating that insurance did not cover my last two visits, which is odd because I had to get approval and a doctor's letter to start work. Turns out that there was a coding error on their part regarding the claim. I called my insurer and got the claim into appeal and told Everlong that after the 30 day appeal, they would need to resubmit the claim with the right code for payment, which they noted. I've been getting harassing emails for payment and threats to send to collection for sessions from two weeks ago! This company has poor practices and is a scam. I would avoid at all costs!

If you are thinking about this don’t. They get you with saying that you will be covered by your insurance at the beginning by seeming reasonable and understanding. Then they tell you about their strict policy on session cancellations which I understand, but under a situation where the client cannot attend due to a health issue, they still do not seem to care. I had to cancel 12 hours prior to my session, because I was in the emergency room since the night before. I am now being charged $200 for “late cancellation.” Keep in mind that I have been with the nutritionist since December, never missed a visit and saw her almost every week. I want to say that the nutritionist was really good, but a company that doesn’t work with you should not be recommended.
