I am encouraged. This is my second attempt to get my appetite under control. I am taking this Contrave and have cut way back on carbohydrates. Also walking a bit more! Need to drop about 25 pounds!

I'm a life long yoyo dieter. I've always struggled with weight. It's fast on and impossible to take off I used to joke that in an ice-age I'd be the last one standing. The first 20lbs melted off without effort. I have a goal of 80lbs. I'm 25% of the way after 6weeks. Now that I'm losing weight, I have the energy and motivation to move more and be more active. I'm not running miles or hitting the gym like a fanatic CrossFit junkie. I'm walking at lunchtime and after dinner. I'm playing with my kids and taking the stairs. Truth be told, I'm not able to run yet because it hurts my knees. But I have goals and I signed up for a Thanksgiving race! I'm on my way. Hope you are too! I only have 2 detractors. 1) I find that I am short tempered. I can't tell if this is associated with the medicine or if it's just running on empty... 2) I have no appetite until it's around 10pm. Then I have to drink a big glass of water, which creates it's own problems late at night!

This was a very pleasant experience. Easy to get started online. Customer service rep was very polite. Physician called which only took a few minutes. 10 days on Contrave and a low carb diet and 10 lbs lighter. Could not be happier. So far no side effects at all. Does not keep me up at night.

My questions were answered. I like that you have to have a second consultation after 3 months to make sure it’s effective. Medication has worked great for me.
