I am only on the 5th day and I have already noticed a distinct decline in sugar cravings and compulsive behavior. I have been able to reduce portion size. I am no longer grazing throughout the day nor am I starving all day and having out of control eating in the evenings. Everyone was great . I just started so not sure how it works.

I lost 30 pounds within 6 months on the first round of Contrave. I did not change my diet nor did I exercise. I did have some discomfort the first month of taking contrave. I had severe stomach cramps and diarrhea but once it subsided, I was okay. Since contrave has to be cycled every nine months, I stopped taking it for 3 months. I started taking it again about a month ago because I still have 30 more pounds to go, but this time around it does not seem to be effective at all. I don't know what to do about the plateau.
