My initial experience with get contrive was great, but renewing my prescription has been a nightmare. I originally received an email indicating I was due for a phone consultation, but when I contacted getcontrave I was told that I was not, my profile just needed to be updated. The woman asked me questions about my weight and general information and indicated all was confirmed and up to date. Nearing my shipment date, I received my regular confirmation email, but as the date approached, I received a text messaging asking if I was available to chat with a doctor in 48 hours. This text was received and replied to on November 18th. Today is November 25th and I have yet to receive a consultation, so I reached out to getcontrave. Via the chat system I was told the doctor had reached out to me 6 times. This representative was helpful and courteous. I knew their must be an issue since I have not received any calls, so I immediately called in to speak to someone. The phone rep was extremely rude. She indicated that I had been called and they just must speak to me. I understand I need the phone consultation I am have been trying to complete it for over a month and was given incorrect information. I asked if I could schedule a call so I can ensure I can be reached and her answer was no, we just can’t do that. There is not reason to be rude to your customers. I then had to ask if I can do anything to narrow down when the doctor would call so I could ensure my availability. She told me that usually people give them times they are available and was again very rude. I told her that is exactly what I was looking for and it would help to rectify the situation if I knew when to look for calls. I provided my availability and as I tried to ask another question, she tried to get off the phone and spoke over me. I had to butt in to stop her and ask what area code to look for to which she made a snippy comment about screening my calls. After the call was complete I researched the date I was told the doctor attempted to call and discovered that this number has been flagged as spam by the system I have on my AT&T phone so as I said, I was not screening the calls or intentionally ignoring them , they were blocked by my spam prevention system. In a day of extreme robo and spam call abuse I would think the company would understand and provide better customer service to avoid these inconveniences. A great customer focused solution to this problem would be better training for your representatives. If someone calls due to not receiving contact when they expected there is no need to be rude. Explain to the customer that the doctor has reached out, but their number may be flagged as spam. Ask for a better time to call and let the customer know what number or area code will call so they can ensure it is not auto flagged by a spam prevention system or app. I hope you are regularly listening to your phone calls and can ensure customers receive better service.

Took EXACTLY as directed, cut way back on my food intake and didn't lose a single pound. I'd like my money back...
