I have been getting steady weight loss using Contrave. No side effects at all. The biggest help is with my night time sugar cravings, I have much better ability to resist. I also want to mention that I am receiving Contrave by using the manufacturers program for $99 a month. This is wonderful because my insurance (Tricare Retiree) would not approve the prescription because it is a name brand medicine and they felt it is too expensive. They wanted me to take the generic weight loss drug even though I also take medicine that has a severe drug conflict with the generic. Contrave works great but I do recommend increasing your physical activity because it enhances the effectiveness of the medicine. As I see the numbers on the scale go down, my motivation goes up. I’ve been on full strength (2 morning, 2 evening) for about 10 weeks and have lost about 14 pounds but most of the weight loss has been in the last 4-5 weeks so don’t get discouraged if you don’t lose weight immediately. I am confident that the longer I use, the more weight I’ll lose and my health will continue to improve.
