Scam through and through! Lied about available dates and took my money anyway. Then told me I should have read the fine print that says the dates are not real on the website.

Payment is only captured over the phone, after all terms and conditions have been reviewed carefully with each guest by our resort partner. Due to the extremely low prices, and limited availability with these rates, availability can change quickly. While we understand your disappointment, our offers are definitely not a scam. All terms and conditions are listed on the website offer page for all of our vacation deals.

After i done paid for the trip
After i done paid for the trip , got everything ready to go , hype my kids up for the trip , i receive an email the morning before i left for vacation stating that the trip is being canceled due to me traveling with westgate in 2024 .. if that was the case why didnt anyone say that on the phone while i was purchasing .. I wasted so much money for nothing!!!!!

However, as per the Terms and Conditions put forth by our Resort Partner, there are certain promotions that you will not qualify for if you have previously taken advantage of one. If you mentioned on the phone that you had not previously booked one of these promotions with the Resort but later it is verified that you indeed had, then you would not be qualified after all. The money that is taken at the time of booking is only to hold your dates and you are not charged until check in. So in this case, your money was not charged/returned since you did not check in. Warning: Bait-and-Switch Scam – Stay Away from Getaway Dealz!
Do NOT fall for the “promotion” rates offered by Getaway Dealz. This company is running a complete bait-and-switch scam. Over the phone, they ask you a series of qualifying questions, and if you meet their criteria, they confirm your booking at a discounted rate. Sounds legit, right? WRONG.
Once you arrive at the resort, they make you fill out ANOTHER questionnaire—and if any of your answers don’t match what you said over the phone, they immediately disqualify you and force you to pay the full price, which in my case was $500.
This is AFTER they had already approved my eligibility over the phone and accepted my payment. They conveniently fail to mention that you’ll need to show proof of income at check-in, and they wait until you’re there in person—on vacation—to drop this bombshell.
When I called corporate to explain the situation, I was shocked to be called a liar. There was zero accountability. No one was willing to take responsibility, and I was left paying the full price for a trip I booked under false pretenses.
This company does NOT honor their word, their fine print is misleading, and their customer service is beyond unprofessional. Save yourself the frustration, money, and disrespect—do NOT book with Getaway Dealz.

We have traveled hundreds of thousands of people through the years and no one has experienced an issue like this unless they are purposefully changing or altering information. If you provided different information at the time of booking and then changed the information once you got there, then yes there would be a problem as the one you described. All we can do is honor our word: which is that if you qualify for our promotion and attend the presentation, you will get to save hundreds of dollars on your vacation. Regards.

I want to leave this review for you because of 3 days vacation I passed in your hotel you forced me and layed me to buy a timeshare now i already paid 37000 dollars to avoid you mess my credit as you already did . I hope one day USA president or the Senate can touch this point with guys . It’s not fair stollen the people like that .

As it is explained during the reservation process there is NO obligation to purchase anything, only to attend the presentation in order to qualify for the discounted package. So if you chose to purchase a timeshare and are currently experiencing issues relating to that, we would encourage you to contact the resort. My name is Adriana and my problem is not with getawaydealz as a whole it was the rep that I spoke with ….he seemed to get irritated because I was asking questions and couldn’t hear him clearly.Its my sons birthday and myself alongside other family members were going to travel to Myrtle beach for their $59 special. The customer rep was getting irritated and wanted to rush through without me asking questions. He proceeds to hang up not call back and block me from being able to go away for the weekend when I tried calling back it said I didn’t qualify but I meet the age requirements….smh he did it on purpose. He didn’t like that he didn’t have the answers or couldn’t get me to just agree and hand over all my info…. I was willing to sit through the 90 min session and possibly buy into the timeshare…our weekend is ruined! I wish blessings to you customer rep whatever you may be going through please don’t take it out on the rest when we ALL have a little something going on. Prayers to you🙏🏽 Also I couldn’t find a number to speak with a supervisor due to this.

Horrible Experience
We are at the resort today and seems nothing is matching what we were told.
- we were supposed to get a condo with king bed, one sofa with bed, and kitchenette (non of that happened....we have a room with 2 double beds and no kitchen.
- the offer was supposed to have Water park and zip line included in the price (folks clearly denied - you pay for everything here)
- everything is misleading.

This place is definitely a scam! I have NEVER had any resort, hotel, motel etc, ask my age, place of employment, if I am married or single. What is my level of income, and didn't qualify me due to my income level per year, then she quickly hang-up the phone when I told her I'll do a review on her. They are fishing for information and I should have knew something was wrong. I would not advise giving out your personal information. SCAMMERS!!!!

The reason why we are able to offer our packages at up to 85% discount is because these promotional offers require an up to a 2 hour sales presentation at the Resort to learn about our Resort Partner’s vacation Ownership Programs. The demographic requirements are set forth by our Resort Partners, not us, and they are all listed on the website under the Offer’s “Terms & Conditions.” The last thing that we want to do is to sell this package to someone that does not qualify because the penalty for purchasing the package without qualifying would result in an additional charge of the full rack-rate of the resort stay. Our packages are not a scam but there are qualifications to meet to purchase which not everybody meets. We can understand why this would be disappointing to someone who does not qualify or want to answer the questions.
