Great way to enter the ecosystem. I've been using Alby for a couple years now and it has been paramount to my experience with both Lightning and Nostr. As I continue to grow, so do they. Always adding and improving the experience.

Setting up a selfhosted Lightning node could not be more simple. An easy docker compose and you are up and running in a few minutes. That's the way to do it!

getalby.com has completely changed how I interact with Bitcoin. It's an incredibly versatile app that consolidates all the essential Bitcoin, Lightning, and Nostr tools in one place. I love how simple it is to manage my own Bitcoin. Payments over the Lightning Network are, well, lightning-fast, and feel very secure. The fact that I can connect the app to my own node gives me an unparalleled level of control, and the integration with Nostr opens up a world of possibilities for decentralized social media. The development team deserves a lot of credit; they are constantly improving the platform and their support is top-notch. In short, this is a smooth, powerful, all-in-one solution. I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about self-custody on the Lightning Network.
