German with LauraReviews of germanwithlaura.com

For someone that is struggling with German grammar this session is well worth the time and money. Finding the right noun gender is a tough one but with the hierarchy chart she put together has helped me immensely. It is setup so nicely the bite size videos. Plus the tests after each step or/and video. The declension (word ending) chart, for determiners, Adj. endings, is a huge step up from how I was initially taught. A well thought out approach. It didn’t happen overnight. The Dativ/ Akku preposition video was very clear, when determining which class they fall into. She made it so simple. The team is wonderful. If you wanted to ask a question most of the time someone had asked it in the discussion section that is included individually with each video. So helpful. Thank you for all the effort. It was a blessing to me.

German with Laura is a unique eye opener. Finally someone can teach German grammer in a manner that a dummy like me can grasp. It comes in small chunks that are understandable. The word drills help to make the lesson sink in and the ability to chat and ask questions clears up any misunderstanding. I highly recommend German with Laura for anyone wanting to understand the complex nature of German grammer, making it logical and intuitive. R. Denault

I studied German in high school and have tried picking it up on and off again over the last twenty years without much success - until now. For the first time, I have started to understand the rules behind the grammar, instead of just trying to memorise set combinations. I’ve loved this course and feel really like it’s been a step-change in my learning. I don‘t know why it isn‘t taught this way all the time!

The best course I have ever tested! And I have tested a lot!! This woman deserves a prize!! Charismatic and Original Her system really unlocks German grammar and does it with grace! Simplifies the complex and systematise the random! Thank you Laura sooo much I am so glad that I found your course ! I wish I could make gratitude travel through screen right where you are. I am definitely taking the course number 2 as well ! Thanks again- it was a delightful learning journey!

What makes Laura great? She cares about her students and follows up to see how they are progressing in her courses. She explains things well and also improves your confidence level, before even tackling the language itself. Would you rather dive right into the language? No. I would rather be given the confidence from the teacher, before diving right in.

A different approach to the difficulties of German with organization that I have not seen elsewhere including a chart of endings that help with figuring out noun gender. It does stress some memory but not the rote memory of learning the gender of each noun. I have just begun with her and am at page 5 of one of her books. 3 books are sold for $25 total and appear necessary to me to go with her course.

The explanations are very clear and easy to understands. The method used makes it easy to learn and to retain the information. I would recommend this course to anybody.

Amazing course! Best language teacher I've had so far. Breaks down every concept perfectly and does so in a way that I feel excited not only to keep studying German, but also use similar methods to learn more languages. Thanks!
