Absolutely useless! They gave me no specific (eat this or eat that in any specific way) - mine and my friend's were so identical we laughed for an hour. We felt like suckers for buying this product. I doubt that they will even post this review, as I am sure they cull their feedback to swing favorably to them. Oh, and BASICALLY, THE WHOLE PURPOSE IS TO SELL YOU THEIR SUPPLEMENT PRODUCTS!!!!

Waste of money
The advertisement I saw said - find out what to eat to loose weight.
I did not get this information. I got crap that basically said - eat veggies. gee thanks, I couldn't figure that out on my own.
Terrible waste of money.

Don’t waste your time or money!!
What a total and expensive disappointment! My recommendations are funny! Eel, Mackerel, Turnip greens, Collard greens, Red bell peppers, Jalopeno peppers! Really! I went on the 45 minute webinar for help and that was a waste of time too!

Not too happy with ordering the the Personalized Recipes
Not too happy with ordering the Personalized Recipes. I would recommend if you don't know everything you don't like, then just pull your food report. Which I still feel is like a scam because mine matched too much like the one they use for advertisement. Anyway, spending an extra $30.00 to get recipes and because I truly didn't know off hand everything I don't like, I ended up with five ingredients that I don't like. Yeah, it's my fault for not entering it but still not excited to try any of the recipes. Tofu was an ingredient that I completely forgot to add, but really, how many people eat that, I guess enough to make it to my recipe. Not even sure how to doctor up that recipe to be excited to try it. Catfish, yeah I know a lot of people like catfish, but to me, it literally tastes like dirt and I forgot about that one. It made it because supposedly it is a food my body is supposed to love. But as all fish lovers know, simply changing a dirty fish for a cleaner fish doesn't fix the recipe. All fish have their unique tated. Feta, OMG, why are we moving away from normal cheeses. Honestly, I guess I should be glad this is the only cheeses that made it. I like Munster and Mild, but most cheeses I don't like. I should have just put I don't like any cheeses period so I wouldn't get these weird cheeses in my recipes. Yeah, it's an easier fix, just omit it from the recipe. Quino is the next one. Forgot about this new food they are trying to stuff down everyone's throat, but simply just changing Quino for let's say Cauliflower does not fix this ingredient. And finally the last one, Artichoke. I don't know anyone that likes Artichoke by itself, the only way I can stomach that is in a artichoke/spinach/cheese dip. It is very potent. I guess I should be glad they didn't put fennel on there. Wait, maybe I actually remember that is a food I don't like and added that to my don't like list. So if you do go with the recipes. Good look. But save your money and come up with your own with the foods that your body don't like that they send back. And if you can't figure out your own recipes, their are apps that help you come up with recipes based on what is in your refrigerator.

I have waited 6 weeks for my results
I have waited 6 weeks for my results. There is no method of contact because it simply has a series of pop-up messages that ultimately lead you to submit your email address (with no message) to get a response which never comes. Its frustrating and the lack of updates and ability to communicate are insanely poor service.

BEWARE: This appears to be a scam
After paying $39.95 and submitting my Ancestry.com DNA data, I received an email telling me that the data could not be used, and offering me a refund as one option. I wanted a refund. Instead, I was suddenly offered a profile that placed me in the middle of every category. My strong belief is that they just plugged me into their program without data. When I questioned this turn of events, and again requested a refund, their responses were unresponsive, and I was ignored. This is a scam, as far as I can tell. BEWARE!!

GenoPalate is only using the SAD guidelines
I am very disappointed in this product. After downloading my DNA, they came back with recommendations which are copying the Standard American Diet (SAD), which has caused our nation to be the sickest ever. Seed oils contribute to heart disease, yet this company recommends seed oils. Total waste of my money.

Hi Sandra,
We sincerely apologize for your disappointment with your GenoPalate results. Your recommendations were made for you based on evidence-based research from high-impact clinical trials that directly link positive health outcomes in people with similar genotypes to you. In addition, your top foods were chosen for you based upon how well they match with your genetic recommendations for both macronutrients and micronutrients. For example, an oil may have been pulled higher on your foods list if it has higher monounsaturated fat levels or Vitamin E content if you could benefit from more of those nutrients.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know at [email protected].
Sincerely,
The GenoPalate® Team

Don’t waste your money!
Don’t waste your money!! They don’t really use your DNA raw data for your diet. They made a huge mistake with mine and nobody answered their phone and there isn’t any customer service besides a weak group orientation.

Hi Eva,
We sincerely apologize for your disappointment with your GenoPalate results. All of your nutrition recommendations are derived from evidence-based research from high-impact clinical trials and population studies that directly link positive health outcomes with nutritional genomics. This research shows that variants in your genes influence how well you metabolize and absorb certain nutrients and what nutrition leads to these positive health outcomes for your genotype.
If you have any specific questions or concerns, please email us at [email protected] at your convenience.
